Was informed by the Dr. Herself that she refused to help my wife in a dental emergency. Because my wife missed appointments prior to this emergency. Her last appointment she complained of tooth pain on her right side and pulled a tooth on the left. I do not recommend Akron family Dental. The Dentist was very rude in a time of need.
They very very rarely answer the phone and the wait time even when you have an appointment is crazy. I had an appointment scheduled for an hour after they opened, was one of maybe 3 people in the lobby, and still waited an hour and a half to just go to the back. Almost 4 hours spent there for a filling that has only caused me pain. My tooth was fine until they worked on it. Now I have to go back to the dentist for a fourth time in the span of 2 months. It won't be Akron Family Dental. Ridiculous.
I haven’t been to the dentist in 5+ years. I was terrified to have just a cleaning done. Everyone was so kind & gentle; from the front desk, to x-rays, the dental assistant & the dentist. I’ve had issues in the past with all of the employees being too rough. They definitely eased my anxiety and made me feel comfortable.
I had a root canal and a filling done, a couple weeks went by and I had excruciating pain still and I called and called and called I left voicemail after voicemail and never got a call back. I had to go to another office to find out that I had an infection in the root of the tooth and had to be put on antibiotics. Moral of the story, they don't answer their phone or call back. My wait time while being in the office was awful as well I wait 45 minutes after my appointment time to be seen.
The dentist is amazing. It’s been a while since I’ve had a tooth removed, but my experiences have always seemed “harsh” not this one. He was amazing with my daughter. He was fast and she said it didn’t hurt. Thanks.
My wife had all her teeth pulled here in 2018, they told her she was approved for dentures, then pulled her teeth and then told her after her teeth was pulled out that they couldn't get approval for her dentures because she had prior reconstructive dental procedures done in Dover Ohio in 2016, why in the hell would you pull someone's teeth out before knowing they had been approved for dentures? For two years my wife went toothless because of this place and their incompetence!
I had my upper partial done here by Dr Rosenthal about 7 yrs ago (whom I just loved) and I came back in Dec to have my 6 broken bottom teeth removed so I could get a bottom denture. I seen Dr wen and he proceeded to give me shot after shot of navacain I told him several times I wasn't numb but he was persistent even tho I could feel everything he finally gave up and told me I had to reschedule for a Monday to have Dr Rosenthal pull thm . Pretty incompetant I haven't been back
Nice staff!! When i was in severe pain they seen me right away! Thank you i was in so much pain from a crown, and they helped me, i love coming here! Great atmosphere, great staff
