Phone call was good. Very easy to order.
NB takeaways are cash only. Bit of a pain in the world of tap. But a quick stop at the hole in the wall sorted that.
Order was lamb passanda, chicken tikka masala, lamb tikka (main), two keema naan, chicken karala and a couple of mushroom rice.
£51 all in.
Lamb passanda had 3 pieces of small lamb in it. The rest was a runny sauce. Not at all acceptable. Complete waste of money I’m afraid. 0/10.
Chicken tikka masala. Good pieces of chicken but literally flavourless. This would have been a great portion but it was so bland, tasted like a weak watery tomato sauce. And it was very watery. 2/10
Chicken karala. Again good amount of chicken but watery and flavourless. We were hard pressed to tell this apart from the chicken tikka masala. 2/10
Lamb tikka main. Decent amount of meat but 80% of the dish was onions and peppers. Bit more meat would be good. Taste was excellent though 5/10
Keema naan… great naan but the keema had been forgotten. Both were devoid of meat. 0/10
Overall very disappointing. Yes they were busy but the lack of lamb and overall lack of flavour meant this was a disappointing meal.
I've been going here for years and despite moving away from the area in May 23, went back in mid December and it was still fantastic. The food is of the highest quality and so well priced despite the cost of living increases.
Its the only place I recommend where I know friends and family will always report back saying it was amazing. My personal favourite if you love spicy but tasty. Is the chicken tikka pathia.
Four of us went for a meal last Saturday. I love Indian food and this restaurant did not disappoint! Lovely food, great service and very reasonably priced.

Very pleasant local Indian Restaurant, we are local to Akash and come fairly regularly for eat in and take away. Have always been happy with the food quality and portion sizes, and we often try new items from their menu, happy to recommend.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! a fantastic place for my first date, all of the staff are so friendly and lovely, and the food? don’t even get me started! it was just beautiful! i definitely recommend if anyone wants an incredible Indian meal! thank you so much for the waitresses who instantly met my every need!! xx
We ordered for collection from this restaurant, hoping for a nice dinner after Lincoln’s Indian restaurants seem to have generally gone downhill. We were very pleasantly surprised to taste Indian food without tonnes of sugar or overloaded with coconut. The food was layered in flavour and the lamb in my lamb Bhuna fell apart so easily, I was amazed! We will be ordering from here next time we want good Indian food without a doubt.
Called ahead for a takeout. Food is always quality, and you get a free pepsi max with your order. The food is good and is great value. Highly recommended.
