This was my first time at Aicha Hair Braiding and it was a wonderful experience the owners were real cool nice convo and super patient. The woman that braided my hair took my natural hair into consideration with the style I wanted and I appreciate that so much. I definitely will be returning back.
The owner is amazing, accommodating and has great customer service skills. The “sister” however is mean spirited and comes off hateful. At one point, I had to go to my car, raining this day she made me stand at the locked door. Her daughter, being about maybe 6 or 7 must of felt bad. The little girl walked over to open the door and her mother started yelling at her???? While the owner is telling everyone what they can and will do, the sister is telling everyone what they can’t and won’t do.
Second time getting my hair braided and wonderful service! She never disappoints! Good vibes and a beautiful hair! Hands down she the best will be back!
I am very disappointed in the service I received and the quality of my hair. First off, this lady had a cold, flu or Covid and I didn’t realize it until after she started doing my hair halfway through. She sneezed on me and coughed on me. She had a mask on for the most part but did take it off at times. She was spraying Lysol. She made sure I kept my mask on but she took hers down at times. She took 8 hours to do bob and the braids were medium sized. I got there at 9am and left after 430pm. It was super tight and didn’t look anything like the bob I showed her. Also two days after leaving her shop, I had a fever of 102. I was so sick and so I tested positive for Covid. My husband and I both work from home and don’t really go many places. I ended up giving it to my hubby, and my 2 and 3 year olds. If she knew she was sick she should’ve stayed home and scheduled me another time. I’m not a hard person to please but I will NEVER come back here or recommend this place.
Very personable experience with great hair styles, service and price! Always had a great experience and endless compliments anytime I got my hair braided. Any style you want they pretty much do it all. Very accommodating as well. Thank you Aicha
I’m more so hurt than upset. I am 24 years old I have been natural for years and I wear my hair in protecting styles on and off. I have NEVER experienced anything like this. I have had so much hair loss from having the box braids from this salon. I understand having normal shedding from having a protective style in for a month or two, but this is way more than normal shedding. I wanted to post this for people who take good care of their hair, I would not recommend. Protective styles are meant to help grow your hair, not damage.
