Great little Mexican restaurant! Delicious street tacos ???? ???? Service was fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable.
Chicken enchiladas, chorizo/beef tacos was very good. Even my pickiest kid loved it. Price was good. They all came out hot. Ladies were nice and brought us round two of chips before we even asked! Good service! ❤️ I'm glad we decided to come here!
Loved the atmosphere and the decorations but the tacos r not very good. I personally like my carne asada seasoned really well and I don’t want to taste the oil it was cooked in.
We were a little worried because only one other car was there, but it was at 3:30 pm. We were NOT disappointed!! Chicken fajitas were so pretty and flavored so well. The perfect amount of char and the veggies were tender crisp and do yummy my hubbyrmtionrd he would even eat them without the chicken (and he usually doesn't like peppers). The chili rellano was so yummy, especially with the rice that came with the fajitas. My hubby and I shared both, savored every bite, and came away very full. We are traveling through, but can't wait to come back sometime. Well done!!
I also need to mention how nice our server was and how quickly we got our food. I'm sure the time of day helped with the speed.
Aguila Con El Taco is our go to place for authentic Mexican food. Starting from the beginning. Service is excellent. The owner is on-site always and is Customer service oriented to the Nth degree. Fine selections of draft beer on tap and food, well the food is the highlight of our day. We had chips and tomatillo salsa with Modelo Negra beer to start. Salsa is tart with slight heat that pairs well with the chips or everything. For our main course we had the Aztec tacos both carne asada and carnitas with a side Mexican rice and refried beans. The meat is tender and flavorful, and all of the components of the taco are perfectly balanced. Also there red (fire hot) salsa is excellent. We love this place and visit every time we are in town.
2nd Review. March 2023. Back in town and this joint did not disappoint. No matter the time frame the taste and quality are on point here. I do not hesitate to say that this place is the most consistent restaurant in which we’ve ever eaten. Service is excellent and the owner is a personable and eager to ensure your dining experience is everything you wish for. Our thanks to you Sir for your food and hospitality.
Third Review: a triumph again. We switched up this time and had the Aztec Wet Burrito with Carne Asada and Adobada (smoked pork) smothered in green salsa and topped with roasted jalapeños and avocado. Completely delicious. Paired with a Modelo Negra makes for a perfect meal. Thanks again for a great meal!
They get 2 stars because their burritos are the best in town but will absolutely not go back. About 2 months ago we went through drive thru and they literally forgot us. Paid went to second window and waited at least 20 min before backing up to see when our order would be ready. They forgot to make it offered us free drinks (which we declined) for the mix up. Swore I'd never go back. Went in today anyway because again their burritos are delicious. Ordered an Aztec with chicken and a wet with no meat. Got 2 steaks instead. Waste of 25 bucks and now don't care how good they are will not ever go there again
This was a little gem! We sat out on the patio and it was comfortable even on a hot summer day. Our server came out right away with chips and salsa, and took our drink orders. She was so sweet and efficient. She brought waters next, along with frozen margaritas, which were fine; nothing special. The salsa tasted fresh and different from what we've had other places. It didn't take long to be served our chicken taco salads (we often choose them) and I'm here to tell you - these were special! First, the tortilla shell was not deep fried, so it's a healthier version and still tasty. The chicken was muy delicioso! Fixed a different and yummier way than we've had in our cross-country travels. The bottom layer of the salad was black beans, which are our favorite. The lettuce part was cool and fresh, as was the guacamole. Shredded cheese was sprinkled on top along with colorful, crispy tortilla chips. It was spicy, not too hot, very flavorful. Some kind of sauce was added for a smooth, creaminess throughout. Price was decent for such a satisfying meal.
Haven't been here in years, but the food is still fantastic! The service was a bit slow when we got there... Forgot that everything except the food is self serve. When you get there, seat yourself, then help yourself to drinks, and wait for your server to come and take your order. The food comes rather quickly, and it's hot, tasty and good. My husband got chicken fajitas and I got 1 beef, 1 shrimp and 1 chicken street tacos, and they were yummie. The rice and beans that came with the fajitas were seasoned well and as flavorful as the meat in the fajitas. Go there and support this wonderful restaurant. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often, I miss the food.
