I used to go here before I moved out of town. I brought my truck here as I was recommended to by a family member. Everything they have done here has come back to haunt me. My O2 sensors were bypassed with some sort of cap, instead of replacing them, which in turn destroyed my catalytic converter, turning a $250 job at most into a $3000 job. They replaced my fuel pump, which most likely either didn’t need to be replaced, wasn’t replaced, or replaced with some cheap Chinese part instead of a NAPA part, now leading to constant stalls when I’m driving. This place is affordable for a reason. Shell out the extra cash and look elsewhere.
A very honest and competent auto repair shop. Specializing in Subaru but also do all brands. I am very happy with all yhe work they have done for me and will continue when I need repairs.

Friendly and great price. Great job with my Escape's transmission rebuild and engine replacement. Several hundred dollars less then the other estimates I received. Highly recommended.
After a 6-hour drive, my car’s check oil light came on. Upon further inspection, I discovered that the shop that had changed my oil in Virginia (in preparation for the trip) had left the oil cap off, and my engine compartment was COVERED in oil. Not only that, but I barely had any oil in the vehicle by this point. I discovered this at the local hardware store, and was referred to Affordable Automotive (thanks, Dylan!).
So I go down the street and see Jake, and he and the other dude got me sorted out straightaway (sorry I don’t remember your name Other Dude, but you were awesome!). It’s a simple story on the surface- I needed oil, they sold me oil- but it’s more than that.
I’m accustomed to men being condescending jerks when I ask for vehicle help. I’m far from a mechanic, but I’m not an idiot either. Plus, being a woman from out of town and disabled, I’m a perfect mark to be taken advantage of. Jake and Other Dude were kind, understanding, and never spoke down to me. They gave my engine a once-over to make sure nothing else was wrong with it, explained how to use an engine degreaser so I could clean up the mess, and gave me a good deal on the oil to boot.
Really turned a distressing situation into an easy and relaxing transaction. I told my family (who just moved to the area) about how professional and kind these guys were, and hope they will go to Affordable Automotive when they need work done!
