Called him about my durmax because of over heating in October sometime.Took 4 weeks just to get him to look at it. He put the engine in so we thought maybe it was on warranty.he would look at it. Than a week or two would roll by. Than i would call him or stop in there at the shop and he still couldn't find the problem yet. Finely diagnosed it as head gaskets. O,and just to find out its not on warranty. So,great let's get it fixed. Weeks roll by no feedback.call him up,"o,I'll get it in tomorrow". Heard that before!! Still there,4 months now,but he has the head gaskets so I can't take it to some one else now! Frustrating!!
He does pretty good work, ill say that, when he gets around to it. Got another quote from a different guy and he said it would take 3 weeks to get in ,and about 4or5 days To do

Do not go here if you care about how long the service takes. We were supposed to pick up our vehicle Friday afternoon after dropping it off on Wednesday. The shop was closed with our vehicle locked inside 3 hours before the listed closing time. When we finally got ahold of the owner, they said they would potentially be there in a few hours. I don't even know if the work has been done yet.
If you want a professional experience, do NOT bring your vehicles here for service. My check engine light came on and OBD2 said it was a stuck solenoid on transmission. I dropped it off to them to diagnose and quote me price for repair. After 3 weeks and not hearing a peep from the owner, I call him to be informed that he’s not sure that they even looked at my car. He told me he would get it in and take a look. By end of day, I still hadn’t heard back so I dropped by the shop. I’m not sure if he forgot about it or didn’t get around to it, regardless, no service. I gave him another chance to make it right because he said he’d look at it first thing this morning and that he WOULD call me. By end of day, again NOTHING. Went to the shop and he tells me that he couldn’t get the check engine light to come back on. I thought, okay weird. I mean that’s standard practice. Read the code. Clear the code. Make sure the same code is thrown again. He said he could try to drive it again tomorrow and see what happens. I’m guessing nothing was done other than clearing the code and turning the check engine light off. I’m a patient person, but at this point I’m done. I’m not going to beg a business with inadequate service to provide me with said service. Wouldn’t you know it, I drove less than a mile and the check engine light came back on.
I highly recommend Affordable Automotive. My family was heading back home, three hours away, when our van's engine light began flashing and lost much of the engine's power just outside of Roosevelt. We turned around at a top speed of 45 mph and began looking for a repair shop that could tell us what was wrong and fix our van to get us home. This all took place near closing time on the day before Christmas Eve. Joe, took a good look at the van and diagnosed the problem. He then began working on the van that night and came back on Christmas Eve to finish the repair. It was a difficult repair and took longer than anticipated. After the hard work, Affordable Automotive was able to get our van up and running and better than it was before. The service was great and the price was very fair. Had it not been for Joe and his team and their willingness to go above and beyond, my family could have been stuck out of town for Christmas. Thank you so much for all that you did for us!
Joe is a great mechanic and does a great job with repairs. He is Hand Solo right now so sometimes it takes him a while to repair your ride. His prices are reasonable also.
Joe Quick is amazing. He has worked on all of my families vehicles. He is fair with price & doesnt charge outrageous prices for labor. He is honest when it comes to what is wrong with your vehicle. I recommend these guys to everyone we know.
We've been bringing our cars to Joe for years now. He does excellent work for a lot less than other places. He's the only one I trust to do it right the first time and not overcharge. The only downside is he's not a very well kept secret, so even though he works remarkably fast, sometimes there's a bit of a wait.
