I'm not sure why so many negative comments about waiting a long time & office staff not being nice. I was greeted nicely & actually interacted with 3 different office members before leaving.they were all very nice! As far as waiting...ha! I barely got signed in when I was called back to see Ethan who was so kind & knowledgeable as was the sweet nurse who was in the room with me! Advanced Derm medical & office staff were great!
I am so impressed with this clinic. I got a same day appointment for my acne issues. The office wait time was practically non-existent. The staff and doctor were amazing. Very attentive and caring! My husband has been suffering with a skin condition for a while. He was brushed off by his GP and referred to the other clinic in town. His earliest appointment time was 6 months out even though he was extremely uncomfortable! They would not help him get a faster appointment. That is ridiculous. I am so thankful that I found this clinic. They actually care about their patients!! He was so excited that they would see him right away. He does no have to be in pain anymore.
The place overall seemed ok. However, the physician (if you want to call her that) I saw completely dismissed every concern I had. Not only was she dismissive the diagnoses she gave me was absolutely absurd, something I had never heard of. Being the person I am I decided to look up my new crazy sounding diagnosis
Well, I could never even find anything close to it. The visit didn't even last 3 minutes and she was out of the room. Ask i was leaving I was so confused so I asked the nurse could she please sum it up for me . Her comment was "oh, just get a good moisturizer. That was it!!! Sooo, thank you but no thank you Dr. Amylee Frankel.
Everyone was pleasant enough on my visit over two weeks ago when a biopsy was taken. However getting results is frustrating! Still waiting to talk to the “coordinator” not even the doctor about the results! What is the primary purpose of this medical business! Does anyone care what it is like to wait for results!
Was able to arrive early for my appointment. Got to be seen quickly and received attention to what was needed by Mr Chris Thompson. Very pleased with the attention and care received. Thanks
It was my first visit with this doctor. He made me feel comfortable. He listened to my concerns and addressed each sympton thoroughly and prepared a treatment strategy. I feel confident in the doctor and staff at Advanced Dermatology.
Made an appointment. Between a 3 day waiting period to be seen I received 8 reminders on my phone. I responded to the first one which should have been enough. Day of appointment I sit in the waiting room for 1 1/2 hours. Asked receptionist 2 separate times as to the problem. Said they didn't know and it was obvious they didn't care. Plenty more dermatologist out there to choose from...
I'm only giving 2 stars due to how quick they could get me and my daughter in, otherwise I don't recommend this location. It's better to wait 2 months to be seen. When they saw my 3 year old for a bump on her head that hasn't gone away for over a year, the Dr simply said it's probably a vascular issue but no need to worry it will eventually go away otherwise get an ultrasound if it doesn't go away soon. What? That doesn't ease my mind. When I try to ask when I should get the ultrasound exactly she just said don't unless you're worried and walked out. She spent a whole of 5 minutes with us and seemed to be in a rush. Then when I went in myself for hormonal acne, the staff had bad attitudes. The PA was more attentive this time but when they found out I was still nursing my child at night they were very judgy and said "oh I'm sorry she's looks a little old so we didn't assume she was nursing." Well that stopped the whole visit right there they couldn't do anything except give me topical medicine. Doesn't end there though. In waiting a week and didn't hear anything from the pharmacy. I went to the CVS and called and they had not recieved it after a week. I called the derm office and left a voicemail. Never talked to anyone just go a voicemail from my pharmacy in Ohio! I called the derm office again and left another voicemail telling them they sent it to the wrong pharmacy. A week later still nothing. Called the cvs again still not there. So a total of $50 bucks or so out of pocket and who knows what after insurance. I've gone no where in either situation. I don't usually leave reviews, but I couldn't let this experience slide. Glad other people have good experiences, but that's not the case for me.
