Superb fish and chips. The haddock was large and full of flavour. Way better than another local Martlesham fish and chips shop we used to visit.
Not great to be honest! Lovely staff but food was all dried out , overcooked and hard like it had been sitting there for ages and dried out under the heater . Really expensive for what it was too!

Hurrah. New management now frying in vegetable oil and been assured chips are Veggie friendly - so bad news for my hips as they are delicious (chips not hips). Food freshly cooked. I've bought the fish for friends and family and all enjoyed it. Good portions, nice atmosphere. Can get very busy, suggest you pre-order over the weekend.
Since this fish and chip shop has been taken over by the new people the fish and chips are no longer cooked in beef dripping.
They are now cooked in vegtable oil and are so much tastier.
My wife and I tried the fish and chips here the other day having not been to a chip shop for years. I found the new owners to be very friendly and polite. They cook all the fish fresh when you order, so it's not been sitting around for ages. The fish & chips were really tasty and not dripping in oil so I can recommend them.
The place looked spotlessly clean and we look forward to going back.

We’re from out of the area on holiday. Google maps took us to this “nearest” chip shop. We drove to our accommodation to eat. Wish we’d have eaten in the car as chips were inedible. Hard, uncooked.
Just had a haddock and chips expertly prepared. Not fat and batter golden brown and crispy. Perfect
