Best KPortal Reviews
The folks who work here really know service and are friendly. Everyone is helpful and the good is fresh. I love the guacamole made fresh with just what you ask for in it. The house whisky was fine, and the Mic Lite is complementary.
The great part of this one is that there are the little tables on the chairs. That's the best. Some Admiral's clubs don't have them, and they suck. This one, you can eat and drink without a mess.
Always friendly service. Sometimes more crowded because this is the smaller of the two clubs in CLT. Food is what you make of it. If you’re expecting a gourmet meal, you’ll always be disappointed. But for snacks or a decent breakfast, you should be fine.
This place is falling apart. I checked four double electrical outlets along the wall of windows. None of them worked. Most of leather lounge chairs are chipped and ripping. The only yogurt flavors they serve have 11 grams of sugar. The espresso machine works. If I would have paid for a day pass to access this lounge, I would have asked for a refund. I gave them three stars because the staff is nice and tries to keep this dinosaur clean.
This is the first Admirals Club I’ve gone to that has enough staff to refill the food and keep the tables clean. The. Staff here is great. They are on top of their jobs and very friendly. They make you feel welcome and appreciated. The food was very good with a nice selection. The overall club was clean and well designed. Could be bigger as it was very busy. Good job!
As a AA executive credit card holder, I got free entry into the Admirals Club which is a great benefit. During my recent trip to Asheville, I had a three hours layover at Charlotte each way. I brought my friend here. The lounge was huge with lots of seating arrangements. Although it was crowded, there were plenty of seats available. The lighting was soothing and comfortable.
On my both stays at the lounge four days apart, the food and snacks were the exactly the same: meatballs, pasta, some cheeses and hummus, some nuts and crackers. The desserts were the same too: brownie bites, marshmallow treats and Baklava bites. The taste was moderate. There was only one complementary red or white wine to choose from. If you would like to have another kind, say sparkling wine or rose, you would have to pay. Coffee, tea and water were free.
Overall It’s a great rest place for a relaxed and quiet layover. But don’t expect too much for the food.
Customer service was great and was greeted with a smile upon entering. The complimentary food could be much better. Overall, it's a great experience while waiting on your flights. Great conversations with other passengers also. Well kept and cleanliness,
To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. We have never been in one but had international first class seats. We walk in and the customer service check in attendees were utter jerks. We walked past them bc there is construction going on and didn’t know where to go. The first attendant asked if we had checked in, we said no, he said you need to get behind the rope and check in, you can’t just walk in here. ZERO customer service. They acted like we walked in aimlessly. They said uh this is the admirals club who’s the member? We said none of us we have first class seats. She said international? I said yes. She said scan your boarding pass. Once she realized we were legit, she was suddenly nice. Walk in, and there is hardly and seating. Food looks like it had been sitting there for days. Sub sandwiches which are supposed to be refrigerated if you don’t want food poisoning. Not one attendee around except the restroom and no eye contact or smile. This is absolutely unacceptable. You should be ashamed.
Large but overcrowded lounge (at least until 8PM, quieter after)
Usual rather poor food selection and quality available in AA regular lounges (but slightly better than at other locations).
Some amazing staff, especially at the reception, who are making a HUGE difference when things are getting a bit wrong (cancelations, delays). I should never forget the wonderful assistance provided by Earlene earlier this week !
Btw wondering when will AA finally be ready with the extended renovated lounge AND the Flagship in Charlotte???
