Horrible place to get your vehicle fixed. I got my vehicle towed to them because it wouldn’t start. After telling the guy to diagnose it he called me back saying it was fixed without telling me what was wrong with it and that I owed him $1,000.00 for a fuel pump. I asked him to break down the charges and he started to get belligerent. I stated to him that I never signed any paperwork nor did I give him the ok to fix it. He then continued to tell me the longer that I kept my vehicle there and didn’t give him his money that he will then start to charge me a storage fee. I tried to get NOPD involved but they said all I could do is sue him which is what I’m going through court proceedings now for. Shady mechanic!
When I have problems with my car I don't have to worry about nothing because I know it's going to be fix right. I am very satisfied.
Highly recommended. What I like about this place is that they run the computer to diagnose problems, but then they also take the time to troubleshoot. They try harder than most places to find the simplest way to solve the problem, not to merely replace a part identified by the computer.
They stand behind their work, too. on my last visit, they fixed a misfiring issue at no charge because they say the fix was related to a prior tuneup I had done with them. They could easily have charged me, but they did not.
Mike fixed my car when no one else could even figure out what was wrong with it. Everyone there is so nice. I highly recommend taking your car to Addison Automotive. I can’t say enough good things about them.
I was reffered here by a couple of people so I decided to give them a try . Mike was very knowledgeable and knows how to trouble shoot electrical issues and how to fix them correctly I’m very satisfied with the repairs to my ac unit and definitely would use them again to service my car.
When nobody else wanted to do the job, Mike did. Great service and quick results.
I want to tell everyone that Addison's Auto repair is a wonderful place to have work on your vehicles. They are very wonderful honest people that truly care about their customers. Here is my story. My wife and son where traveling back across country (coming from Tucson, AZ to Southern Indiana) and stopped in New Orleans to see the sites for a couple of days. Just as she arrived in New Orleans, her dodge 3500 4x4 diesel truck had the clutch go out and stranded her and my son there in New Orleans. Being very stressed about what to do, I started calling every mechanic shop around to see if they could help us out and replace the clutch in our truck. After calling 13 shops, Addison's was one of 2 shops that said they could even do the job let alone get started on the job at hand the same day. I explained my situation to all the shops I called and no one could fit us in so it looked like my wife and son were going to be stranded for at least a week in New Orleans until I could get fitted in somewhere and that is if they could even do the Job. Well I was very discouraged at this point until I called Addison's Auto Repair and told them my situation. We talked about the work needed on the truck and they were able to make magic happen for us. They got the clutch replacement on our truck started the same day in the afternoon once i had a wrecker deliver the truck to them around 2pm. They sent me pictures of the progress, the failed parts, and they keep me updated throughout the whole process. They had the truck finished and working again just after lunch the following day so my wife and son could get back on the road to come home. The people at Addison's are all wonderful caring people and so very respectful to the situation my family was in and if it were not for Addison's Auto Repair I don't know what we would have done. I want to thank everyone at Addison's Auto Repair from the bottom of my heart for all the help they provided. On top of all of this, Addison's was $800 dollars cheaper than the only other shop I found that would even do the clutch replacement. The people at Addison's are amazing people and may they all be blessed for truly caring and helping us out when we needed it most. Thanks again for being the best shop I have ever had the pleasure of working with on my vehicle's repairs. When we make it back in the area, I will make it priority to come shake the hand of everyone involved with getting my stranded wife and son back on the road to be able to come home.
Unskilled mechanic, unable to diagnose simple problems and terrible customer service. Had a car towed there, the mechanic held to the car for a week without diagnosing a problem. Brought the car to another mechanic to diagnose the problem, upon calling Addison back to get a price to do the repairs the owner took the phone from the secretary started yelling about wasting his time (although I was trying to bring him business by getting a quote for the issue that he was unable to even diagnose) then hung up on me. I would never use this shop or recommend it to anyone else there.
