Favorite Columbus restaurant. Addis has stellar food, the nicest staff, and generous portions for the prices. Very vegetarian friendly, too. Addis carryout was my weekend treat throughout the pandemic, and after moving to New York for 2 years my husband and I finally got a chance to visit Columbus recently and dine it at Addis. It was so lovely, and the food was gorgeous. 10/10, such a hidden gem.
Although I wasn't very familiar with Ethiopian cuisine, I had a great time at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the price was very fair, especially considering that we ordered a platter for four people and couldn't even finish it! My friend really enjoyed the mango smoothie, but I found it a bit too sweet and heavy. The one downside was that the restaurant was very busy, and they occasionally forgot to bring our additional orders. Also, they charged us the wrong amount, so it's important to double-check your tab during checkout. However, despite these minor issues, the food was superb and definitely worth a visit for anyone in the area looking to try something new.
We went here as a family to try out some Ethiopian food. This restaurant came up as highly recommended both in Google and Yelp, and it lived up to the expectations. As vegetarians we went for the Veggie Platter and it was more than filling for our family (my kids are not big eaters). We had mango smoothie for drinks. Their Injira is of the best quality I have tasted. The lentil, salad, spinach and cooked beets were delicious and highly recommend. Driving to this place made us a little nervous due to the neighborhood, but once we were there it was perfectly Ok. Highly recommended if you want to try some ethnic food.
Phenomenal taste! I ordered the vegetable plater and every dish was flavorful. Manager is very nice and respectful well!

Still an excellent Eithiopian restaurant! See photos of veggie combo and the whole fish dinner. Both tasted great. Enjoyed Jebena coffee ceremony complete with Frankincense incense. Young man who served us was gracious, welcoming, and efficient. Great birthday lunch for my older friend. Thank you!

Enjoyed the vegetarian combo platter— great assortment of salad, greens, cabbage, yellow pea, lentil, beet and potato dishes all in little tasty piles on excellent enjera bread—nice casual setting— fine service. Strong Eithiopian coffee — like espresso! Very welcoming to customers here. Great Eithiopian music videos make the meal even better!
WOW is all I can say! Great, friendly service, wonderful food, and spicy!! (Which I loved) Will definitely be back and highly recommend.
