Service
I called before arriving close to 9p to confirm they closed at 10p. The person who answered said yes, we’re open and abruptly hung up the phone. However, during our meal, we were told they needed us to clear out so they could close, but didn’t provide this message to the other two tables dining who arrived after us.
The menu doesn’t denote gluten free items and when we asked our server, he said they didn’t know. Add to that, he didn’t inquire.
One of our entrees was apparently keyed in incorrectly. Thankfully, the person who brought out the meal, said the name of each dish before placing it on the table. Our server didn’t acknowledge or apologize for the mishap which led to us sharing the entree we had until the other was prepared.
Perhaps these three experiences explains why the restaurant was completely empty when we arrived and why there’s a white sheet of paper taped to the window that says they’re hiring for all positions.
Food
Of the three entrees, we liked one. Highly recommend the kerala fish curry. Suggest avoiding the butter chicken. The chicken was on the tough side, the texture was thicker than usual and the flavor just wasn’t there.
Beverages
Adda is not afraid to use spice, so it was great to have a carafe of water at the table. Also, the peach margarita was quite memorable. It was honestly and surprisingly one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had.
Got the garlic naan & butter chicken & both were amazing! Garlic naan was thin, crispy, & tasty. Butter chicken was tender. Service was good & friendly. If youre in the area or staying nearby, come support this business. Food was yummy.
The manager of the restaurant was completely rude. While doing a delivery on 4 different occasions, the store manager refused to allow me to use the restroom due to me being African American. He stated on each occasion that “the restrooms have been damaged in the past and that’s why they do not allow individuals to use the restroom”. This was a complete embarrassing and and unnecessary situation. On each occasion I have drivers that were White, Hispanic, or Indian use the restroom with no problem. As a driver and potential customer, this should not happen. The manager is shown in the picture below. He also, provided a false name “Lemonskee” and refused to provide his actual name. The employees there also refuse to state their name. This establishment is racist to African American and unprofessional to drivers who assist their company in thriving as a business. What a shame!
Absolutely excellent Indian food! Server gave excellent reccomendations, the food was served hot and ready, a very well decorated restaurant with an even better price. I would go here every day if I could. The Chicken Tikki Masalla did not disappoint. Can't wait to return!
Adda is good. One of the few spots in the city that will serve you actual spicy food and not just a hint of spice. The restaurant is always clean and has a nice vibe. Never too crowded. Servers are nice but I feel like sometimes they don’t understand you which is fine, it is kinda loud in there at times. I got the Murgh Vindaloo which had no potatoes. I’ve never had a vindaloo with no potatoes which I found a little odd. I also got the Schezwan noodles. So yummy and flavorful. Naan was okay, a bit burnt. Samosas also okay, you can tell its the frozen type. Margarita was delicious! Will be back again!
We ordered butter chicken, lamb Biryani and a dessert called Golab something. I liked the restaurant vibe. Polite people, plenty of room to sit and have party. It looked clean and tidy. I would go there again and this time maybe sitting there.
We later went to the restaurant and dined in. Ordered paneer chili, chicken 65, Irani Gusht, schezwan noodle and mango lassi. One great fact about the food: it gives you the beautiful taste of Indian but not crazy spicy.
Not a cheap restaurant. But really good portions. Will be back again.the restaurant atmosphere is very nice with polite people.
Made a visit here for a team outing and it did not disappoint. Flavors were amazing and I could not stop eating that chicken on the sizzling plate. Curries were smooth and dense and the naan was very fresh and flavorful with garlic as well. Would definitely love to visit again and try some of their other dishes.
Pretty good Indian food. The appetizers were very good, especially the fried one.
We love spicy food and they were able to customize our food to the spicy level we want.
The desserts we tried were very special. (At least for us)
But we think it’s a bit overpriced in general given the portion size of the food.
