In 71 year's of my life, I have never seen this from a mechanic shop.
I brought a explorer in for a estimate to replace the torque converter.
I was given a very reasonable cost estimate.
I told them to do the job. The next day the truck was completed. When I went to get my truck, Ms. Cassie told me, the sway bars needed to be replaced. She said to go get the sway bars and they would installed them for free.
I would highly recommend to shop .

highly don’t recommend going here!!! i went here to get one simple thing to my car done, which was the belt under my hood and these people decided to add oil to my car without my permission & decided to mess with my coolant. i then arrived at the place to pick up my car and they were trying to charge me $21 for 3 quarts of oil, $21.75 for the coolant, $76.99 for the stream hose, $100 for a change line labor, $100 for belt labor and the total came out to be $319.74.. when all i came there for was to get the belt of my car fixed. i then declined to pay for the other things besides the belt that i asked to get done. the wife here was pretty rude & was rushing me to pay while i was trying to figure out what they were doing to my car, while the husband was being calm and nice when i was trying to communicate to the both of them.
The wife is not a happy person. Very rude first thing in the morning. On the other hand Eric is a great person to deal with and its unfortunate the whole shop has to be brought down by her rudeness. Hopefully if you go you won't have to deal with her and you should have a good experience. I wanted to use them but after her rudeness and her saying a smoke test will cost me hundreds and is very time consuming I just couldn't deal with her. I smoke tested a fair amount of vehicles and its never taken me over an hour and I figured a 2nd opinion shouldn't cost that much. Very unfortunate.
Highly recommend Adams Automotive in Terrytown. Very trustworthy, fast and reasonable prices. Mr. Adam and his wife are the best! They fixed my work van, checked all fluids and tire pressure, more than I asked for. I’m a Raving Fan for them.
2 days after Ida hit, I needed to get out of town but my car won’t start. Eric came to my house got car running even after his entire shop was demolished by hurricane Ida. Not only did he restore my car, he restored my faith in humanity!
Best mechanics in town, this was the 3rd shop we were referred to, and the FIRST that was capable of doing what I needed for my truck. Quick service, friendly employees, competent work. Will recommend.
I called and asked the receptionist do they work on volvo. She replied we don't work on German vehicles. So quick to say no. Volvo is a Swedish vehicle.
Just went for a quick brake tag got it less than 10mins thanks guys super sweet and nice.
