The facility wasn't terrible. I was expecting much worse based on the comments. There is an air of defensiveness in some of the employees, and perhaps that's why the negative reviews. All in all, we were seen in a timely fashion and there were no major inconveniences.
Love ❤️ Their food place very clean fresh clean tasty food ???? cozy ???? home atmosphere service with a incredible smile my friend and I ordered hamburger ???? and coffee ☕️ our special diner in queens can't wait to go back Their again
They don't care about HIPPA at all. The doctor is beyond rude. The staff is condescending. The entire setup is very unprofessional. You have to speak to the doctor in a room over Zoom or something. She claims she can't hear you. The computer volume is on 1000 and she makes you scream your answers about your medical issues so the entire building can hear all your personal medical business. They should shut that place down. Immediately.
The office is well kept and clean, and there is a bathroom available for people. The only issue with this office is it is so far out in Queens, where you are practically in the middle of nowhere. Why this office can't be more centrally located in Queens is beyond me. Also found a couple of the people who work there rude, but most were very nice. I was just glad when the process was over, and I got out of there.
It was a great experience. From my ride to go to the Accessment center to the return ride home. The All Transit drivers were very polite and professional. The workers at the Accessment center was also very polite and professional.
I had to go for an evaluation and was taken from my home in Manhattan to Queens by Access A Ride. The are pretty efficient and on time. They brought me back home as well and the drivers were nice. You just have to schedule your appointments in advance (2) days at least so you won't have a long wait for your pickup service. It's good to have if you have a disability cause public transportation is rough when it comes to climbing stairs.
Mere words CANNOT express how GREAT, HELPFUL, FANTASTIC, & CARING, the women who work there are.
Ten STARS for each of them.
If ALL Customer Service Agents were like them, this world would be a much better place.
I spoke with the main office, and told them how GREAT that facility's people are.
Visiting this office is like watching a bleak melodrama about the horrors of Bureaucracy unfold all around you. Just to summarize a few of the many, many problems I witnessed here while waiting with my friend:
- The bathroom is absolutely disgusting to the point of being unusable.
- For whatever reason the A/C wasn’t working so they were fixing it during the work day. That would be bad enough except they didn’t have enough chairs to accommodate people in the front, meaning that some people had to stand or sit on the floor. Even worse, some people were asked to wait outside on a hot summer day with no chairs provided.
- Appointments proceed at a snail pace with numerous inefficiencies through the process. The staff is overwhelmed and it shows through their cold and indifferent service. People desperately jockey to have their appointments moved up to avoid an hour plus wait when Paratransit drops them off here early.
- The spot for wheelchair applicants to wait is too small to fit wheelchairs comfortably without blocking the aisle. That says it all.
