I had a fabulous time with my friend at this amazing restaurant. From the moment we got in I felt extremely comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
Every single aspect of this restaurant was truly exceptional…. The decor, lighting, ambiance, vibes, cleanliness were just fabulous.
The food was not just delightful but it was authentic. Our lunch today was truly a sublime experience and we will definitely keep going back. I left feeling extremely satisfied and delighted.
Returning customer! Absolutely love their food. Lamb Tagine is the most delicious I have tried in London. Dips are super fresh and delicious. Must visit place!
Food was amazing. 10/10, I really recommend! Watch out for the extra 10% tax on the bill and the miscalculations. If you are not alert, you can end up overpaying
Honestly, after traveling around Morocco, and also having friends of Libyan descent I was so looking forward to trying the food. Ive had bakbaka before but thought it would have been better here. Soup was good, the bakbaka needed more sauce and flavor, it was more of just a regular pasta in sauce than the traditional Libyan dish. Octopus couscous was okay, the couscous was good but octopus very rubbery. Service was extremely slow, but honestly I felt bad because they seemed very understaffed especially in the kitchen and the workers were really nice. Hopefully they can improve in the future and the restaurant will be better
Very welcoming and cozy café and restaurant. The service is friendly, social and quick. We ordered mint tea and Baklava, both were very tasty. Afterwards we had soda drinks. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem in Marylebone.
This restaurant was highly disappointing, and I cannot recommend it. Purportedly a Libyan establishment, it was staffed by an Egyptian and a Syrian. Upon ordering, we were not informed of a delay exceeding 35 minutes. An orange juice, part of our order, was served as we endured the wait. Repeated inquiries were met with assurances of ‘just one more minute’, yet the wait persisted. Ultimately, the food arrived after a considerable delay and was extremely poor. I must advise against this restaurant, as the experience was marred by dishonesty.
This is the first time we had any Libyan food. The taste was good. We ordered two dishes - reshda and lamb cous cous. But both dishes taste very similar.
My husband and I came from Scotland just to try this restaurant, but we were treated in a way that made us feel like idiots, they bring the food after half an hour. We haven't tried food, so I can't tell what it tastes, but I can't afford to be treated badly like this and this will be my last time visitingthe this restaurant.
