One of the cab drivers from this company taking a fare by our house stopped in the middle of the street and allowed their passenger to dump trash and leave it in the street. Disgusting business practices! Tried to call the dispatch to report the driver and a woman answered the phone. She asked if she could help me. When I asked if I was calling the company she hung up on me.
I would never call them for this service and do not advise anyone else to!
Ok. 1st this was my first time riding in this taxi. Uber/Lyft is what I will take next time!== I got in the taxi. The driver old African American man "where you going?" Tonality was very stern. I told him "You gotta give me $25 up front before I take you anywhere" I said "ok... You can still drive" i hadn't reached in my pocket. He went on a "manapause" rant about he doesn't make the rules and if I went to a store I would have to pay first etc... I asked was I being charged twice noticed the meter running. "NO! Ill give you $$$ back if it's under $25. Ok then say so! now a 13min ride turns into 18:23min. Highway for nothing only to get maximum amount of$$ from my $25. He the driver of 154 charged my card $24 for a $4.11trip on December 25. the driver claimed there was a minimum charge of $12 when using a card and it was posted on the window. I have pictures of the inside and outside!! I think NOT! If he had told me there was a minimum of $12 when I asked him if he took a card I would have walked ????
I've used this cab company for two years and never had a problem until last week. I have always tipped my drivers well and in some cases, have even offered to buy lunch whenever I stopped to eat myself. Last week, I was headed out of town and called a cab to pick me up at home an drive me to the bus station downtown. I gave the driver, who I later discovered is also the manager, the fare plus tip, only to be cheated $10. When I called the office, the very rude woman on the other end of the phone, tells me she talked to him, and according to him, he gave me exact change. I told her that $10 bucks was nothing to me, but it was more than enough to end my relationship with them.
