My husband, grown son, and I ate at Abby's and had their lunch special. It consisted of a one person pizza, a large salad, and a drink for about $11. The pizza was delicious and the salad was so large that my husband and I took half of our individual pizzas home and had them for dinner the following night! We compared this meal to a previous Chinese food meal (just down the street) a few days before.. the three of us had just an ok meal with no drinks or tea and it cost $52.50! We will be going back to Abby's.
….. ordered a pizza at 4:11, was told it be done in 20 minutes. Get there at 4:35, to be told 8 minutes. Sat and waited for another 20 mins to get an overpriced pizza. Never again, horrible business practice. Don’t mind waiting, but it took almost an hour from when I made a call to actually getting a pizza. Just go to papa Murphy, the pizza might not be as good but it’s quick, cheaper, and you get more
They seemed stressed. They were closing at 7:00 p.m. due to a staffing shortage. We went there looking to hang out. We were informed that we needed to do take out. Overall still satisfied came home and had a nice Pizza dinner.
4 stars, it would be lower if it wasn't for the other workers who were pretty awesome.
The bad: Kolton the Assistant Manager was rude the instant we stepped up to the counter. I thought, meh? Maybe the dude was just busy, exhausted, you know the usual with working in the food industry. I was a server once. I know how it goes. But as I continued to watch him, I could tell he just was not a happy soul. Maybe it's just how he always is? But when I went up to check on the pizza to see what was going on with it. Cause it had been a while. We finished our salad and two rounds of drinks. So I figured it was enough time. However, Kolton and I gained eye contact and it wasn't pleasant. He quickly cut my burnt pizza and slid it on the counter without a sound of acknowledgment and with a bit of attitude.
The good: The other workers there were great. One lady who I talked to tonight? She was friendly. I didn't get her name sadly. Along with Dakota. He was very friendly, easy to talk to, a hard worker and he didn't exhibit any frustrations even though it was apparent he was working his butt off. Like I told the lady. "That guy (Dakota) needs to be promoted and to tell whoever it is in charge that." She agreed he was a great guy and that she would relay the message.
Final note/advice, whatever: Either way, I felt the need to write a review anyway. Because its situations, like with Kolton that need to be addressed. He needs to be taken down from his higher position and retrained how to treat the public. Plain and simple. If you have an unpleasent manager working above you then everyday is miserible at the job. Do better.
It was ???? we ordered 2 pizzas and both didn't have the toppings we were charged for! Happy birthday to me I guess....
Kristina and Colton and the whole Abby's crew went above and beyond tonight. With their hospitality and friendly customer service. For a hard working, realy tired, blue collar guy. Thank you.
Had our baby shower her, they did an awesome job accommodating all of us and were friendly and nice
Placed a large order for a company party and they not only had it prepared for 5pm pick up but also gave me a discount! Thank you!
