The food was good here. The prices were average. The establishment was clean, but the bathroom could use some. TLC. The servers seem like they did not wanna be there. And we're not the most friendly. And confident servers.
Service was great. Very nice, and kept coffee full. I wish I would have went with the pork chop because the steak and eggs was nasty. Chewy with no flavoring. I ate half of it because it's food and I am hungry, but done come here and expect the best food. Maybe in this town as advertised but not in neighboring towns where you can get great steak and eggs. Grits were e tremely salty and nasty too.
The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I ordered the meaty skillet and chicken tenders and fries. The tenders are breaded with a house made breading that is flaky and crispy. Three eggs fried to perfection covered my meaty breakfast with homemade sausage gravy and crisp potato home fries. Will definitely be going back ????
Went there for my birthday, had the 2 porkchops fried, they also come blackened if you prefer. Had mashed potatoes and gravy with greens and a salad. This is our favorite place to eat, food is always good and the service is great. Breakfast or lunch, it doesn't matter. Definitely will continue to keep going there. Well recommended ????
We had a horrible experience! The booth wasn’t clean, and it was so cracked and scratchy on the legs. Very uncomfortable. The only thing I had before deciding to leave was a lukewarm AWFUL cup of coffee. Old, outdated, and not a clean atmosphere.
I come here a lot with my grandparents and always have amazing service. I came with just my mom and it was the worst service. So if you’re not a regular don’t expect good service. Our server was more concerned and attentive with her regulars. She was also rude, gave us food with no syrup and no silverware. We had to ask another server to check on our food and ultimately had to get the manager. Had my French toast sitting in front of me with no syrup and no silverware for at least 4 or 5 mins before she came back with it, so it got cold. Manager is very sweet and kind though.
Waited 20 mins for a server, they weren't busy. 4 servers working. As we were getting ready to leave angrily another server We had not been helped and came over and took our order. We ordered from their specials menu, and of course, they were out of the first thing we ordered. we ordered different items. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Looked really good But the pork chops were overcooked and very dry to eat. As we were eating our supposed to be Server who had tables on both sides of us walked by without looking up quietly said Sorry I let you sit so long as she walked by. and never acknowledged us again. I thought it was ironic, they had signs up That said, friendliest place in town and best food and service in town, it was neither.
Very nice little home town place. Very good food, friendly staff. Well worth the money.
