I’ve never been so excited to write about a review, as I am this one. I was just in Atlanta this past weekend and was searching for some soul food. I stumbled upon this spot. And I’m so glad I did. I was looking for fried chicken and ribs. I got neither, but that’s OK, because I did get some of the best macaroni and cheese and yams that I’ve ever eaten in my life. I’m not joking! And I also got to meet the owner who was so awesome and sweetheart, I enjoyed our brief conversation as much as my sides. The Mac, it had body and it was creamy and cheesy w/flavor. I loved the pull of the cheese in each bite ???? The yams, I at first was thinking where’s the juice? (I’m from Ohio and use to mine swimming in juice lol) I was forever schooled that day, they were sweetened perfectly and had the right amount of syrup. If I could’ve made it back on this trip, I would’ve been there for an encore of these side dishes plus the catfish that foolishly (I’m sure) decided against ????
I’ve been living in Atlanta for about 7 months on the hunt for the best food spots & I’m telling y’all…I found my forever soul food spot lol. 5 stars!! Listen..10 stars, 20 stars!! Chile allat and then some. I’ve had the salmon & shrimp with Mac & yams and I had the greens & everything is always so good. Honestly always a hit! Order from here, you won’t regret it
The food here is so delicious. This is one of my favorite soul food spots. 1111 is a hidden gem in the city of Atlanta. The hours are flexible and I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and I’m never disappointed. I highly recommend you go there and satisfy those tastebuds and that stomach
The food is always AMAZING!! The atmosphere was very relaxing and intimate!!! I love the SALMON PASTA, okra, macaroni and cheese!!! The owner was very professional and friendly!!! You must check it out!!
i ordered on uber eats. and the mac was different. never had sweet on mac and cheese but it was so good. The fish was a lil salty but everything else made up for it????
I’ve been eating here since they opened up , and let me be the 1st to say , this spot hasn’t failed me once , and they’re clutch .REAL LATE NIGHT Soul food at ????????????????????????
The food was amazing and great customer service. The owner was very accommodating even stayed open to take our order. When we come back to ATL this will definitely be a spot to visit.
