Food was late the fish was overcooked and dry even the dog spat it out and turned his nose up at it , curry sauce was lumpy watery and did not taste nice. The battered Mars bars were awful took one bite spat it out and binned the rest. very expensive for the quality of food recieved which majority of it went in the bin won't order again i expected better.
Update: spent the night feeling sick with the worst case of indigestion and heartburn I've ever had just from the small amount of sub standard food I tried
Went there today for battered sausage and chips and a battered Mars bar. The batter on the sausage was soggy and doughy so was the batter on the Mars bar chips like they’ve just been reheated not a very good experience.
I have just had delivered the most beautiful piece of fish (rock )i have had in a long time .my partner had a burger which was also briliant . Big thankyou Alan Cooper.
Only ever ordered online, the food is always good and the portion sizes are great. The burgers aren’t the nicest in my opinion, but it is a fish and chip shop after all.
I showed up tonight on my bike after a long shift at work and was greeted with nothing but politeness throughout, the fish and chips were beautifully done and probably the best I’ve had in a while. As well as this, they even taped my box shut so it wouldn’t spill out in my bag! 100% I’ll be coming back here again
Ordered small cod, but think I got a goldfish, it was tiny, as opposed to the chips, which were a gargantuan portion.!
On the plus side food arrived quickly, and was hot, just disappointing.

A mixed review, delivery great on time and friendly. Food chips were good then some other chippy. Down side Large Cod was more like a medium and the Kebab meat ok not any way near as good as Coxhealth, hate to say the pitta bread not even cut and the meat on top, speak less on the way it was searved.
Such a badly run shop and it’s a huge shame as it looks stunning on the website and has an extensive menu.
Paid £8.50 for a cod and chips and the chips were such a small portion and i had to remind them for salt and vinegar which shocked them when it’s a staple for a chippie?
Huge queue of hungry people who all had very basic orders which proves that you can have all the chefs in the kitchen yet why is only 1 having to fulfil all the orders?? it didn’t make any sense to me and i felt bad for him....
Not returning even though the menu looked good and it’s just not worth the money at all.
