Fantastic coffee and sandwiches (the brie bacon and cranberry chutney toastie was proper nice). Deffo recommend popping in here or any of their other places around Cornwall.
Delicious fresh food, great customer service and spotlessly clean
Locally sourced food prepared on the premises. Fresh cakes and wide selection of lunches. The curried carrot and lentil soup is particularly nice. Friendly efficient staff. Large seating area upstairs with accessibility lift. Plenty of parking outside and easy access from the A30.
Great food and i mean GREAT food, rather long wait for drinks so could do with extra staff to help with the takeaway orders morning rush. But to be fair the server did her best and was extremely polite and friendly as was the chef who brought a food to the table. Dispite the wait for drinks the food and service was so good not to get a 5 star review.
The name is so accurate! All the food is yummy scrummy
Called in for breakfast as this was a place the kids really wanted to try but sadly we were all disappointed. Coffees were nice and the bread was fresh and delicious but our bacon was badly cooked i.e. not at all crispy. The kids are picky with bacon at the best of times but two sandwiches went in the bin as they were put off by the white fat.
£35 for four breakfast sandwiches and a drink each and I think it's fair to expect it to be nicer than it was.
We were disappointed with our lunch, we have been making a point of eating out locally for lunch once a week to help local business through these awful times. We have been to Par cafe a few times but never Summercourt. We will not be rushing back there again!
Very expensive, to sit in and have to use wooden cutlery for a jacket potato to eat out of a cardboard box. It was because of covid, we have eaten from a plate and used real cutlery in all the other places we have been recently! One in our party had a pasty which wasn't cooked through properly, the potato was still hard, so we took half of it home. The thick bread on the sandwich was all bread and hardly any filling. If you eat-in you expect at least a few crisps if not a small side salad on the side when paying that sort of money, not having it served in a paper bag.
I appreciate these are difficult times but this was overpriced with no ambience or service. We will not be returning that is certain..
Decorated lovely.. hands down best bit of the place... however a dusting wouldnt go a miss. The planter upstairs are covered in dust. So much so it can been seen from the tables.
Coffee was incredibly weak dare I say even Macdonald's coffee is better..., as was the milkshakes.
Food was on the bland side too. Pulled pork has the consistency of mushy peas.
Would have given this one star if not for the chutney being amazing! and the decor.
