Okay people if you are looking for a Local garage with old fashion values this is it. There are fuel sales and a shop with a good stock of basics plus booze and nasty fags..... The garage and servicing side is brilliant we have both our vehicles looked after here quality costs but when you get looked after you don't mind.....
Whilst on holiday our car suffered an engine fault. The team here were fantastic. They managed to order the part and finalise the repair within a day. The whole team front staff and engineers, were friendly and helpful.
Amazing service from the garage - replaced a fuel filter on our motorhome next day saving our holiday! A pleasure to deal with and a cracking outfit ????????
So impressed with this garage. We were on holiday and realised the day before we were set to go home that the cars coil spring had totally broken down. Called W Sanders & Sons who diagnosed and ordered the parts that same day and had it repaired by the afternoon of the next day. Although we were due to leave that morning, they gave us a courtesy car to have for the day so we could enjoy one more day in Devon. Very happy and grateful!
I cannot speak highly enough of W Sanders & Sons Ltd Garage. I was staying on holiday nearby at Woodford Bridge when I had a problem with my car on the day I was due to be going home. Although they were very busy, they agreed to see my car immediately, diagnosed the fault and fixed the car on the same day so I could still get home as I had originally planned. They looked after me whilst I was in their waiting area and offered me hot drinks. They gave me a lift back to the resort so I didn’t have to walk along the main road or call a cab. Throughout the whole day, Rex and Denise couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful and informative. If all businesses were like this one, the world would be a better place!

Really top notch customer service.
Even though we broke down and were towed to the garage at 9pm, Rex waited up for us way past closing time and was back there first thing in the morning.
He was patient and clear explaining the issues and repairs over the following couple of days.
Both ladies on reception, the petrol station attendant, and mechanics we met were all also very friendly and helpful.
They also take COVID precautions seriously, which we appreciated.
We have used W Sanders & Sons Ltd, since we relocate the area. They are such friendly, helpful family and staff. As a small independent business, that treat everyone with a personal touch, although we have move into town, we still use them for our cars and picking up groceries if we are passing.
Only downside shuts very early ! 8pm
And 4pm on a Sunday
Always have fuel tho and staff are just lovely
