Always cheerful staff serve their many customers with a range of sandwiches, pies pasties, buns and bread of the finest quality. Customers come from miles around for Wright's products.
Honestly the only flaw this lovely bakery has are some of the staff. Everytime I go in the staff handle the food directly after handling cash. No tongs , no gloves, no washing hands.
You would think that after covid they would have strict cross contamination rules.
It honestly stops me getting most things.
The bakers and recipes are fantastic here but the handling of the food is disgusting.

Me and Mum popped in to get some of the amazing trifles they do, they are completely different to the ones you can get in the shops, much more tastier! We also got a pie and a cheese pasty which was gorgeous, the staff are also really friendly. Would definitely recommend popping by and grabbing a nice snack.
The best bakery around, his bread pies and cakes are all exceptional, especially his cream cakes are to die for. I can easily say I can't find better in the area, the sandwiches are a bit on the small side and lacking in flavour but if I want a sandwich I would go to a sandwich shop, it's all about the bakery here, yum-yum.
Good fresh food but tending towards the expensive side.
I wonder if they can make pies with flaky pastry, or only shortcrust ones? At least the shortcrust is fresh and nice, not hard like some.
My favourite place for fresh buns and strawberry tarts, delicious!
