Fab little cafe in a small village just north of Rutland Water. Quick and friendly service. A good menu with some tasty dishes on the specials board too. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for. Good selection of hot and cold drinks. Outside seating available & parking is on-street. Tables able to be reserved & the cafe can seat around 20ish. On-site toilet facilities available. Will definitely be visiting again!
I come in here a lot, very handy for a wake-up coffee after the rush of the school run. Lovely cosy cafe with great coffee and cakes. Customer service is always friendly and helpful and the fact that my mutt is welcome too is an added bonus! Good to see a small business thriving in our village community.

Lovely cosy cafe - perfect place for quality time with my daughter after school, or to meet up with friends. Wookies serve the best coffee, and according to my daughter, gorgeous milkshakes! Delicious cakes too???? Will definitely be back - want to try the scrumptious looking breakfasts.

Lovely little cafe, a few tables outside, with small seating area at the back. Good choice of breakfasts & lunch, or just for a coffee & cake stop. Very friendly service, will make this a regular stop!
I have visited this cafe several times to give them a chance. The coffee is an absolute embarrassment, espresso is weak, milk not foamed correctly for any type of coffee, not even a cappuccino and that is the easiest. If you are going to serve coffee, get trained. There is an awkward atmosphere when you arrive. Wouldn't recommend this place.
This is an absolute hidden Gem in Rutland. A beautiful little Cafe tucked away in the village of Wissendine. Beautiful decor, warm and welcoming...Two Chimps Coffee expertly prepared any way you like... Americano, Latte and Cappuccino to name but a few! Full English Breakfast is the best in Rutland in my opinion. But Bacon Rolls to go are always an option if you are on the move...Service from two of the loveliest ladies you could meet. Always happy to make you leave with a full Tum and smile! So glad we found Wookies! Well worth a visit... thanks ladies... keep up the good work!
What a delightful little place this is !!! Excellent selection of cakes and meals on offer vegan friendly dog friendly it's just perfect , have been around 6 times now and been more impressed every time the owners are lovely and nothing is too much trouble a definite must if your ever in whissendine
I've been here a few times now as I wanted to give it a fair chance and all I can say is that this is not a hidden gem. Living in a village you expect a friendly greeting when you come in, but you're not acknowledged by the owners. Food is lacklustre, the hollandaise sauce is awful. Just ashame.
