We’d had a rubbish day with our car breaking down en route to our friends’ wedding. As our car was being repaired at Kwik Fit we decided to pop into this restaurant and our mood was immediately lifted.
The menu has a wide range of Caribbean favourites and the friendly lady who was working there was accommodating and helpful in her service. Everything that we ordered was delicious and you could see a stream of locals and regulars passing through as we sat down, clearly it’s a local favourite.
We will be returning!

Absolutely unbelievably amazing! That was the best Caribbean Iv had in years. Big portion loads of gravy! Flavour was 10/10 I drove from east and will be driving again ???? words can’t even describe. We had 2 curry goats 2 patties SENSATIONAL
Food was average, the portions are really small too. I paid for a mutton soup and it only only had 2.5 pieces of meat. The ackee and saltfish dumplin hardly had any feeling either. Won't be going to this place again.
Excellent authentic Jamaican food! Friendly fast service. Nice clean and cosy eat in cafe or takeaway. I've been coming here for years and never been disappointed. Really big portions and reasonably priced too. It's win win at Woodfire!
Stopped here just passing through but I’ll definitely be making the journey from east, the food was amazing. Ordered curry goat n a couple patties. Beauuutiful. I’ll be getting double portion next time round.
Living in Devon without a Caribbean take away nearby this was such a treat. Beautifully cooked and boxed up for me in generous portions which I could freeze and travel with. Thank you so much
