Sadly this is no longer our go-to chippy after numerous appalling visits. We spent over £50 on a special birthday dinner for the family and were shocked to receive tiny portions of chips, sausages that were seemingly days old (very dry) and dry+tasteless egg fried rice that wasn't cooked properly. Very sad as for years we loved to visit Wong's...
Unfortunately, with their increased prices and lowered standards, we can't justify spending money here and so we'll have to call somewhere else.
The best Chinese and fish and chips around this area. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Lovely staff too.
The house curry is to die for. Friendly family run business. Consistently give out top notch portions and food is always hot and fresh. I have no clue how people give negative reviews.
Im telling thus is the best chinese chip shop around the chicken balls omg was in heaven i dont get chicken balls cos everywhere i go is just thick batter but these were out of this world no joke no much batter the tast omg and hot and fresh and ive travelled 20 miles just to eat there amazing food
Can’t beat Wongs for fish and chips. Good value in comparison to other places in St Albans. Quick and friendly service. Curry sauce is the best I’ve had from a chippy. Not tried the Chinese food but it’s on my list. Keep on fryin’.

Great little Chinese and fish and chip shop friendly staff quick service quality food. Caters well for food intolerance.

The food this time was not good. The chips were dry as a rock. If I had a chance to go back, I would have taken back the food for an explanation.
