Hidden gem. Just tucked away we found this lovely place. It was stunning, the weather was warm so we took the opportunity to sit outside. The flowers and wildlife were beautiful. The girls greeted us well even though they were busy. They answered all our questions and delivered our drinks to the table. The hot food was limited today, cakes were amazing certainly lots of choices and hot chocolate hit the spot. Of course we followed it all up with some ice cream again lots of choices of flavours.
The cutest little childrens area which everyone made the most of.
I will definitely be visiting again
Was great to see the cafe open on a miserable Friday in winter - just the lift we needed after a wet run around the area. Service great but a special shout out for the avocado on toast. generous amounts of avocado on two large slices of artisan bread. Next time I'm going to push the boat out and treat myself to scrambled egg as well.
Lovely stop, a chance to sit down and have a coffee and a cake. They do a selection of amazing cakes, and the bacon sandwich was lovely. Take a walk down the lane for lovely views
Really lovely place. Very tasty sandwichs and cakes.
Really nice lemon and pistachio cake. Service was rather slow as there was only three staff and one appeared to be on her first day, bless!
Contrary to reviews I'd read here, I found the staff very friendly and service was polite, professional and prompt. They made a fuss of my dog and provided a water bowl. I only had coffee and a scone but no problems with service or attitude whatsoever.
Quite often it's the energy you take with you that resonates through your personal encounters.
Lovely location with pretty garden and calming feel all round, however we were not welcomed and found staff a bit rude. The cafe wasn’t crazy busy, 3 other tables in use but we received no hello or greeting when entering, I wasn’t told how much my order was before paying on my card, I was just shown a card reader with no thank you after paying, then when we went to say goodbye and thank you and were ignored after saying it twice.
Bacon butty however was yummy
Really nice sausage butty. Lovely setting and nice staff.
