Wolds View Surgery

What an absolute pathetic excuse for a "Doctors" Surgery. One Dr in particular, a Dr Singh whom i had an appointment with when i 1st moved to Bridlington. I was 1st on his list for a 9am appointment, but come 10.15 no sign of being seen, when i ask the receptionist, i was told he was NOT even in the surgery yet, when i asked how long he was going to be, they had NO idea as he was NOT contactable. So i left. He then Mis-Diognosed me 3 times for a reccurring rash, 1st time, he said i was allergic to something so gave me Piriton, that did not help, he then said i had a blood disorder, so gave me antibiotics and some cream, still did not help, then he said i had "SCABIES" fgs he gave me some cream, which burned my skin, so i saw a different doctor who said it was just dry skin, gave me cream and the rash went within 3 days. BUT the biggest blunder was my right hip kept giving way on me, so i saw Dr Singh who sent me for a "LEFT" hip xray, because he was sat in his chair opposite me, so my right was his left OH My Days. I have now told my surgery NEVER to book me in with him again. Tried complaining to the practice manager, she she works from home mainly and i cannot get to see her for at least 6 weeks. Horrendous Surgery. STAY AWAY.

Can never get an appointment. God help you if you call after 8am and then the receptionists deem it their business to say whether or not you are emergency. Can't tell you how many times I've had to call 111 who sort out my problem because this surgery won't. Even when you do get a appointment the doctors can't be bothered and don't want to listen. I could go on but this surgery leaves a lot to be desired

Absolutely shambolic doctors surgery. Receptionists are extremely rude and the regular doctors just don’t seem to care.

Even now (April 2022) they make patients wait outside in the cold despite seating inside. The only one in the area that does this.

It used to be really good when it opened and since then it’s got worse and worse. If your looking to register somewhere I strongly recommend looking elsewhere

What awful ignorant Dr's . Twice I have had the misfortune of having to ring 111 that was shambolic in itself ,but the Dr's who rang me from here on two different occasions was appalling. They were rude and have horrible attitudes to the people who they are paid to care for, where have the kind caring Dr's gone. These so called Dr's need to get on attitudes programmes or something .A DISGRACE TO THIER PROFESSION

I am very disappointed with this surgery. They are rude and unhelpful. The care is well under the level expected. IF you get through in the morning all appointments are gone even though you were number 1 in the queue. Care is delayed time and time again, I recently waited 1 month for an urgent xray as I was sent down the wrong pathway time and time again. They say they are under pressure, why, they are not seeing patients anymore. I expect you think I am just a moaner, believe me I am not, I just need help. Bit tired of hearing its Covid, just sort yourself out.

This surgery has seriously gone downhill. You can't see a Dr and you can't get anyone to sort your medication out. 6 weeks post heart attack and no care or help from these whatsoever, not the receptionists fault but those further up the food chain seriously need to sort things out!

I would like to be able to put my experiences at wolds view in minus figures. A couple of the receptionists are nice polite and helpful people. Some are not. The GP service has left a lot to be desired. The main concerns I have are associated with the doctors listening and interpretation skills which have been poor or none existent. This can be dangerous for the health and well being of patients. The practice manager has never been available for me to be able to discuss my concerns. I've registered elsewhere and will be contacting the GMC and cqc about my experiences at wolds view. Best advice, is, to register somewhere that has doctors who listen and respond to their patients appropriately.

The Dr's here are fab. They go above and beyond and can always be relied upon. All the nurses are brill too. The reception staff are really lovely apart from one. Brilliant surgery.
