Best KPortal Reviews
Hong Kong food hawkers, order their fried rice noodle with beef, as they emphasize, super WOK HEI.
It tastes very traditional, and the economy is priced.
Horrible miserable service from woman who works there. Hardly any beef in my BEEF udon. Bland tastless overpriced food. Go elsewhere.
If you're looking for an authentic taste of Hong Kong street food, then look no further than this fantastic stall in Cambridge. The chicken fried rice is a must-try dish here, and what sets it apart is the unique "wok hei" flavor that you won't find anywhere else in the city. The chicken is juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The rice itself is also noteworthy. It's not too dry or too moist, and each grain is separate and distinct.
The service is excellent, they're always happy to chat and offer recommendations, this place is a local gem as well.
So if you're in the mood for something delicious and unique, head on over to this stall, I recommend it to everyone.
well, delicious pasta, no hair, as I read in another opinion, unfortunately trace amounts of other products, 5 flakes, yes, flakes, beef, a few shreds of kale, a few sprouts, two strips of onion, it's very poor, not to say poor. On the plus side is the efficient service, the kindest lady who takes orders quickly, remembers who ordered what. ????
Just tried the A5-Special fried rice, and HK milk tea, the 2 typical foods originated from HK. As a Hongkonger, I can say both are real HK taste.
Don't be scared by owners' lack of facial expression. They don't mean being grumpy, and indeed it's the "welcome ????" face in HK. (compared from Australia Dairy Company)
You can sniff the fragrance of wok's breath from afar. Follow the waft and you can find out where it is.
I'm sure that I'm coming back, and would recommend to others.
Good Price Range (£6 -7.5). Probably the most authentic Hong Kong Styled Stir Fried Noodles you can find in Cambridge. Much better than Hong Kong Fusion in particular..
I had their beef udon noodles which were delicious. A generous portion size too. And good service from the lady taking orders. She remembers who ordered what, and brings it out to you when ready.
I went to this place on a sunny day and thought I was going to eat some delicious noodles. It turned out it was my worst nightmare. I found not 1,2,3,4 hairs I found 5 hairs. It was around the onions (small and long) with bleached ends. I knew it wasn’t mine although I thought the first one could’ve been.
After that I showed me friends that were just enjoying coffee. We were all deeply disgusted and went back to complain. They didn’t do much other than saying we will be careful from now on. I wonder what the people that were before me did! I was the last customer of the day, and I have never felt so sick thinking about how many hairs I may have eaten. I didn’t get refunded until my friend just felt like it was too bad customer service.
It was not nice food, hairy chicken noodles and the worst customer service! I would not give it any stars if possible. It kept me from eating the rest of the day. The worst experience in Cambridge!!!!!!
