I have noticed that this bakery is not as good anymore I keep trying but get disappointed every time,bought an iced bun which had only 2 Sultanus in and now taken home a chicken slice which has only one piece of tiny chicken and no bechamel sauce, the prices go up but the quality has gone down. I have posted the pictures of my so called chicken slice.
Very busy little bakery hidden in a shopping centre. I will definitely go back for more Bath Buns..
Good old fashioned cafe in the shopping centre. Plenty of snacks and non alcoholic beverages. Gets quite busy so you may need to wait. Two separate lines for eat in or takeaway.
Managed to drop my tray with a hot chocolate and doughnut on it and to my delight it was replaced without charge and the mess cleared up with a cheerful smile. Wonderful service.
Great selection of food, both savoury and sweet. Reasonable prices. Helpful staff.
Great bakery and cafe in the shopping centre. Bacon, Brie and cranberry and apple turnovers are favourites and I come 12 miles for the pleasure!! Friendly and helpful staff. Very popular so can get busy. Separate take away queue.
One disadvantage is that toilets are down stairs.
Quick and lovely service as always. There are plenty of seating spaces, in the store or out in the open space in the centre of the shopping centre.
Great bakery goods for takeaway and eating in.
First time we have been here. We were very impressed. Great selection of tasty bakes and cakes. Nice cup of coffee too. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. The manager was on top of everything and maintaining the stock levels of the delicious sausage rolls. Tables were cleared straight away. And the prices were very reasonable. There's plenty of other tea shops that could learn a thing or two from Windmills. Well done ????
