We travelled down for a few Nights in late October.
Caravan park was very quiet, most caravans were
Uninhabited during our short stay.
This was possibly due to the pool, bar and restaurant being closed for renovations.
A good base for exploring the southernmost area of Scotland.
The lighthouse at mull of Galloway is s must visit with views of Scotland, Ireland, England and Isle of Man. Take your binoculars.
Was only in the bar for a few pints and the quality was good the place was clean and tidy as were the toilets
Good place. Needs money spent on the kids parks but the softplay and pool are good for the little ones.
Didn't go to the restaurant so can't comment on that.
All the staff were very friendly.
The caravan we rented was a good price but was an old one had obviously been refurbished. This was to a decent standard though.
Good location, 10 mins North of Stranraer. We went for a 4 night break and had a good time.
Would happily go again!
Nice park quiet. Lovely views right near beach. Not much on the park but we knew that and wanted a quiet place. Restaurant good well priced. The only issue was some dogs not on a lead which it states dogs should be on a lead. Some dog owners had there dogs on a lead not all though and this is not acceptable when there is kids walking about
Next to the sea side and not very busy for the time of year that we visited.
Horrendous park. Wouldn't allow us to book swimming as there was apparently no space all week. I asked to book restaurant and was told no booking required. Turned up to eat on our last night and were told all full. Sat in bar where people were vaping and dogs were roaming around, kids were terrified and owners thought it was hilarious. We ended up having to leave. Location is fine but the park is the worst I've ever been in. Zero information from them on check in too. It's like you're bothering them.
A beautiful view of the sea loch situated just outside the town. As it is out of season the is just the office open and usual facilities open later in the year. It seems a very friendly site. The peace and tranquility of the area is wonderful and people are so friendly. What he’d a beautiful sunset and the full moon reflected in the loch. Great
Restaurant was brilliant, food was lovely. Great kids menu. Beautiful scenery. Soft play, play park and swimming pool on site, ( you need to book swimming pool). Brilliant place, well worth a visit.
