Fantastic services, fantastic staff been here on several occasions when I’ve needed an emergency prescription if it hadn’t been for the pharmacist I’d have had to go a&e putting more unnecessary strain on the a&e staff and wasting tax payers money once again top man ????
AVOID!!! RUDE & UNHELPFUL!!
Referred by 111 for a 90 year old family member who was in so much agony and frustration because of a severe rash.
Pharmacist spoke purely to me and didn’t even speak to the patient (very bizarre).
In short, rude and ignorant.
Symptoms re explained even though 111 had sent the details through to the pharmacy.
He’d charged an OAP for a drug for which he is exempt. When I’d mentioned the exemption, he responded with ‘this is a business’.
Well, i think you need a reality check that you are indeed an NHS PHARMACY and so you abide by NHS medication exemptions by default.
We were rightly referred by 111. I’d asked whether he was aware of (he should be if he’s a pharmacist) an equivalent drug for something my family member takes in the event it is the drug which has caused the rash and he’s responded with ‘I can’t advise to stop taking medication’. At which point, I rephrased the question but he didn’t seem to grasp what I was asking so I just totally simplified it and asked if there was anything at all he could advise to take to provide relief (reason 111 referred).
He responded with oh that will be a doctor because it might be a steroid. Here we were stood in a pharmacy discussing being advised to take a steroid yet he wouldn’t provide it via 111 from one of his shelves, IN the PHARMACY.
He also made snide remarks about not being able to finish on time if someone else walks in which made us feel like we were a burden (we arrived at 8.45pm, it closed at 9pm and it was a 10 min job).
Ignored my family member when bye and thank you was said.
Disgusting human being.

Very dissapointed, drove 30 mins to this one just to see it shut. The times say it's open, but unfortunately, it was not. Waste of time with such a misleading information....
Forgot to order my monthly prescription and needed a emergency week supply for working away , did it in ten minutes on a Saturday morning for me

Drove to Pharmacy as they are on the NHS list for walk in covid booster jabs. The pharmacy said they are not doing them today and was not 100% certain if they would be doing them on the Friday probably or possibly was the really helpful answer. That was a waste of my time.
