They call this as TEXT STOP ! Love this name. One is driving for miles and miles and now looking for a stop to relax and catch up with unread messages !
Nice and decent place. Well maintained. Hall reminds of typical NY structures (internal) like train stations. Vending machines are available for immediate snacking needs.
Con: needed coffee very badly bit the vending machine was out of order ☹️
This rest area is always clean. There are vending machines and some information about the local area.
We like stopping at Whitney point. The bathroom I love because we don't have to touch and flush at the same time I try to take a planter for the box lol????
The ONLY rest area on 81 in NY from Canadian border to Pennsylvania southbound. Great place. No restaurant but restrooms are clean.
