horrible service. visited and was told my medicine couldn’t be ordered (very bluntly) and that i should go back to the doctors and be prescribed something else (i received my prescription that same day and it was clearly written on there). wasn’t given any other advice or even asked any questions, and if i was i would say i’m not able to be prescribed anything else, for a chronic issue like mine i’m trying everything i can. definitely not going back .. and switching my nominated pharmacy. awful place!
The worst pharmacist I’ve ever come across. She is rude, Unbothered by anything anyone has to say, thinks she is above what a DR advises or prescribes. Doesn’t bother to give any other options or advice after refusing to sell/give out medication. Would avoid at all costs.
The lady on the front counter is lovely & couldn’t have been more helpful.
It was my first time collecting a prescription in UK and the pharmacist was very helpful. She explained how everything works and I got everything i needed really quickly.
the pharmacy is located a stone's throw from the Morrison, very convenient since there is space to park. the salesmen and the owner are fantastic people, very helpful and kind. it has recently been renovated, kept impeccably clean and tidy. I recommend it, you will feel at home.
Great owners and wonderful staff! Always friendly and helpful
Prepare for interrogation.
If you ask for a specific medication you are immediately confronted with an inquision during which if you dare answer a question incorrectly you will be refused service. I went in today to request Night Nurse for a chesty cough that is causing difficulty sleeping.
I was immediately treated like a smackhead jonesing for my next fix.
The first question, When did you last take it? -answer, no idea several months ago I guess.
Second question, Night Nurse is not for regular use. What are your symptoms? -answer a cough developing on my chest.
Statement, this isn't for that I can't give it to you.
I queried, that the product is a decongestant recommended for coughs and to assist sleeping.
The answer was that is not what the product is for. There was no offer of alternative, or if those are your symptoms you could try x,y or z.
When we visit a pharmacy we are typically unwell, not thinking correctly and generally having a bad time. This pharmacy does not empathise and treats patients with contempt and distrust. Very disappointing.
I understand there are regulations and requirement when selling pharmacy only medications, however, the way you treat patients whilst fulfilling those requirements is currently subpar.
I recommend a full course of empathy and compassion, please ensure to complete the full course and do not stop early even if you feel better. I also recommend a referral to patient cooperation to assist in helping the patient to get the medication right for them if what they have requested is not suitable.
I will say the lady behind the till is very friendly and helpful.
P.s. I visited the doctor in the afternoon and was advised it should last a few days and to take Day and Night Nurse.
Horrible experience I had with the Pharmacy and especially its team. Very rude and inhuman behaviour of the lead pharmacist, least empathetic and not even bothered to listen to the customer's point. Wont ever recommend anybody to choose this pharmacy unless in dire need.
I think the owner should reflect on the behaviour, courtesy shown by their staff to the customers. You are running a business, and not obliging people by giving them medicines. I will also be raising this with pharmacy ombudsman to look into the practices of this store.
Poor service, recently moved to the area and thought I’d visit this pharmacy to pick up some medication. The team are very hostile and rude. They have a two person policy and advice customers to wait outside when waiting for our medication. No one wears masks inside and it is not mandatory to be social distancing now. The ladies show no sympathy and want you out of the pharmacist. I hope you are reading these reviews and taking action to support your customers. Would not be visiting this pharmacy again and I do not recommend it either.
