Loved this place. Best shrimp in grits I’ve ever had! Split the dish with my sister because we had an appetizer. Sourdough bread with crawfish boil butter. Everything was delicious!
We had the sweetest waitress ever! My friend had the burger and I had the red fish. Absolutely amazing! The dark chocolate bread pudding with a scoop of icecream almost brought tears to my eyes- perfection. Entire experience was 10/10 and we will definitely be back!
One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. Also, you have to try the chocolate bread pudding topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It is delicious.
A friend shared a video of this place with me a while back, and I finally chose to go a few days ago. I was very disappointed...that I didn't make that decision much earlier. I ordered the Cajun chicken piccata and my son ordered the smash burger. Both were outstanding! I won't be going to Ruston nearly as much in the future since my son has finished college, but I would drive the three hours from home to dine there again without much hesitation.
The management and service was beyond accommodating! If you have big parties of 5 or more reservations are definitely recommended. The NY strip was phenomenal. Great seasoning. You want top notch cocktails this is the place to visit in town.
One of the best restaurants in Ruston. This was my second time coming here and I got the burger again. It was almost as good as the first time, but it seems they changed the bun. My wife got the redfish, and she throughly enjoyed it. The overall atmosphere is great, and they have a long list of cocktails. Definitely will be coming back.
We had the most amazing cocktails and meal tonight at White Lightnin'! Best blackened fish I have ever had.
Absolutely loved this place! The whiskey list is unbelievable, and the mixologist made a phenomenal Old Fashioned. We shared the shrimp beignets, which were delicious with the sauce it came with. BBQ shrimp and grits was so good (not a regular bbq sauce). Also had the blackened fish special which was grouper that night and was perfect. This place is a gem! Definitely will return.
