I couldn’t say enough great things about them. I called to get my 87 Ford Ranger looked at for issues with the AC and compressor. Don answered and was immediately open to letting me drop it off the same day, and even got it looked at the same day too! He was informative, answering questions, and extremely friendly. The next day, I received a call back with an update saying it was all done! Needed new hoses and seals but they handled it all and told me everything they found. Saved me a lot of money and time and would recommend them to anyone in the area, especially if you want an honest shop.
While in the area last week, my dashboard malfunction light came on. I called White Horse Auto Repair and they told me to come in right away. My car was fixed in less than 2-hours… and at a reasonable cost. I live in NYC and have never gotten such good service. Thank you White Horse Auto Repair. I appreciate your timely Service rendered to me.
I needed a rear subframe repair. It turned into an even more in-depth job. I must say that my car rides BETTER than it did when I first bought it! Helen was very patient and professional with me as I was an anxious caller and worried about the length of time the repairs required. I felt very comfortable with the price of the job, especially considering the dealership or a franchise shop would've charged 2-4 times as much. This place was recommended to me by a friend and I will recommend it to someone else.
Called for a quote for a timing chain replacement on Monday, said they would call me back next day after getting a price on parts from the dealership. Next day I Called back they said they still waiting for dealership to get back to them . Now it's Thursday still haven't heard from anyone. I guess I have to find someone that's more professional to do the work.
We had an excellent experience. We brought our new pleasure way RV in with a real serious wandering over 50 miles an hour. These folks looked at iy, very objectively told us our options and at 5 o'clock we pick the vehicle up in perfect working order. no problem up to 80 miles an hour really nice job guys
Friendly, knowledgeable and caring staff. Willing to share their thoughts concerning issues with your vehicle, making recommendations and not anxious to do work that's really not necessary. Love this place. Very fair with pricing too!

My wife and I have been loyal customers for over 5 years for both minor (oil changes & tuneups) and major repairs (brakes, mufflers, timing belts). My last experience was very disappointing. About 18 months prior, I had a timing belt replaced on my Subaru, based on the manufacturers 100,000 mile recommendation. However, when you replace a timing belt, you also replace the water pump, which is standard practice. Knowing that I put high mileage on my car, they did not replace my water pump with an OEM part nor did they offer one to me at the time. They used a cheap replacement water pump. Now it is less that 30,000 miles later (or one year and 6 months) and the replacement water pump is leaking. They said the replacement water pump itself (valued at ~$100) is guaranteed for life but the real cost is the labor, which I was told would be 3 hours ($86hr x 3 = $255). This time, I argued with the service manager to put an OEM part on my car because I did not want to be back in the shop for another replacement water pump in only 30,000. The service manager was originally going to charge me $150 for my OEM part until I argued that I should only pay the difference ($50) from what the cheaper water pump cost. Finally, when I went to pick up the car, they said the job took 4 hours even though they quoted me three hours. I left the shop feeling as though I had been taken. I called the following business day to express my disappointment to no avail.
Used to be a great shop to go to especially if you bring your own parts. Recently asked to have new tires installed took 2 days to do, was told i had bent rim ???? which gave tbem issues when mounting but some how got things to seat so they rotated rims knowing there are two different size/width on vehicle and insured me there will be no issues which i disagreed with, took their word on the issue, not even 50 miles in tmps sensor light comes on, called back was now told two front sensors now have low battery and will be a 300+ dollar fix. Went in for a basic tire change with no prior issues. Not happy will not be returning nor advertise for them again yet will keep tire change receipt with statement of rim swap incase there is an issue when driving. I never complain yet need to at this time. Not happy. So now to the dealership to fix properly.
