Parking available, delicious food. Excellent food presentation.
Came within 1 minute of getting towed. First night in town and we decide to check out White Castle. Signs in the parking lot say parking for White Castle customers only. After eating we thought to spend less than 5 minutes walking around the immediate intersection as this is Little India (to take some quick photos, etc). We were within throwing distance of the restaurant the whole time. Upon walking back to our car we noticed that it was already hooked up to a tow truck and the guy was starting to draw and it up.
He basically tried to tell me that it was a tow away zone but I argued that I was a customer. He demanded to see my receipt which I quickly produced from my pocket (thank God I had held onto it).
For all this to happen this fast I’m convinced they must have “spotters” that keep an eye on anyone perceived to be walking away and call their towing buddy for a kickback as if we were trying to take “advantage” of the restaurant in any way (we were the only car parked in the lot). I feel like they also prey on out-of-towners who might not know how to stand up for themselves.
I say screw this location because they’re clearly ok with this unwelcoming practice! We will never be back.
So the fam always stop here on our way home from Hoboken and this is the same one we go to since my grub stage. I got 40 sliders that did us justice. Untill next time ????????
Sliders are always good. 3/4 of the workers move at zombie speed. The place was pretty empty and still took 14 minutes from order print to receiving a crave case.
There's also always a bompy harassing you for change WHILE you're trying to order.
I had food poisoning from eating here for 10 days after my meal.
Was it brutal? Yes.
Would I eat here again? Also yes.
White Castle is my new weight-loss plan, and I love it. There's something about the bullet-proof glass, frosty service and truly questionable food hygiene that keeps me coming back for more delicious sliders. How can it be so good and so wrong?
When I am in New Jersey I like having White Castle hamburgers or beef sliders. They are small, just 2x2 square beef patties in a bun with onions and a pickle. The beef patties have 5 holes so that it is easy to steam grill. It is 100% beef and well seasoned and tastes so enjoyably good. My sister in law like buying the box of White Castle Night Crave Clutch containing 20 beef sliders and the family gets to finish them in no time. Their onion rings are also good.
The food was ok, not different from my expectations, I really liked onion rings and chicken rings. For fast food it's a good option if you are on a budget. I just found the place extremely dirty, with a little bit more love the location can be much better.
I just visit this place the food is too good but the employees dont know how to talk with customer i visited at around 4'o clock in the morning and its 24/7 store and there is no poster or update that the door is close after 10 pm in the night and we have to order only from drivethrough so first time i came back and take my car after that i ordered and pay the amount and after 10 minute waiting they told me we dont have some items so you have to replace the order and particular the black guy with the mask his height may be 5.7 or shorter who dont give us money back and dont give us bill receite too, and he said this is our policy.
After that if customer wanna talk with manager they dont share contact details even manager is there but he dont came in front of customer.
So my request is that if you find any other place for food please make you go there spend more $5-$10 dollars and get better employee reactions.
