The woman that took our order literally laughed in our face as we ordered. We continuously said thank you as she handed us items and she wouldn't even respond just kept moving on with what she was doing. When we told her our order was incorrect, she didn't apologize just yelled into the back of the restaurant what the order should have been and basically tossed our bag into the car once the new order was given. She was rude for no reason. This was the White Castle in the Castleton area of Indianapolis. It isn't listed on the site for whatever reason because they just remolded. Unfortunately they created a beautiful location with horribly rude employees. We are completely turned off of this location. We won't be returning. Also we could see the cleanliness of the restaurant because they have the new sliding door at this location … and we honestly shouldn’t have ordered. This is a newly remolded location by the way…. Like a few months old maybe. And the floors were gross.
Clean store, courteous staff. I was greeted when I walked in even though they were busy. They took my order quickly and were polite.
I have never had a WC burger that tasted that good. I mean I was mad I didn’t order more. Clean establishment, exceptional staff. Definitely coming back.
I work in the area and decided to go over to White castle to get me some breakfast all to find the doors locked. Check the hrs and it clearly stats the doors should be open at 8am. I see one person (manager) mopping and the other talking. I knock on the glass to see if they can tell me what time they was going to open but no one acknowledged me so I called. The manager answered the phone as I proceeded to asks him what time do the doors open? He tells me they won’t due to them being short staff. So are YALL allowing people to walk up to the window an order? He stated no… so I asked will the doors be open anytime today.. he stated prolly not because we short staff. I will be calling corporate Monday morning, not only because of the doors not being opened but due to the inconvenience and the rudeness of the manager!
Just came around 6:50pm 3/29/24 (inside). Not sure if it’s a team lead or manager but he was on top of everything. I appreciated that as a customer. Food was fresh and fast. Thank you ????????
We just ate here at the Whitecastle! What a great first experience! We have frozen Whitecastle in SLC, UT, but that option is nowhere close to the real deal. The employees at this location are FANTASTIC! They made our first time eating at WC. They made all the right suggestions. Britney, Sharyn & Kenan even gave us a little sample so we knew what to expect! We were sold as soon as they gave us the sample! Wheeewwee! Sooooo good!!!!! This location really knows how to welcome some rookies from Utah! The restaurant was clean, drink area & tables clean and free of clutter. Employees quick and attentive to their customers! These guys need a raise! They’re doing an exceptional job at representing Whitecastle! Mahalo’s!!! ????
Food was great.. but attitudes and service was horrible. Very rude an very short, no communication at all. Was shocked at how rude the employees were with just asking simple questions..
They need to listen clearly on the request of customers orders and slow down! There was lint in my case of burgers , I also ordered 6 impossible Burgers they wasn't steamed as requested it was onions on some but barley! If I didn't have to get on the highway before the storm; I would have turned around and made a complaint. I paid 50 something dlrs for my order to be unsatisfied.
