Great, lively atmosphere with good food and drinks. Service was a little slow, but that could've have been just our waitress. They have a bar and a dance floor on the second floor but was completely empty on a Saturday night, maybe because it's only April and it was 40 degrees out. Overall a great place.
I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato and fries, and both delivered! So delicious and exactly what I needed at the end of the day. The waitress who served us was friendly and polite and really helped us out. 10 out of ten, would definitely go back again.
I’ve been here multiple times now and I have never been let down with quality of food, service, and the upkeep of the establishment. Their food is so damn good. It’s not “cheap” to eat or drink but it’s absolutely worth it. And I’d like to give a quick shout out to the young guy who usually waits on tables outside, he is so kind and attentive. Love this place and will always bug my man to take me here.????
This place always has the best drinks, food and music. I recommend the pulled pork sandwich and I am NOT a fry person. I would eat Whiskeys fries all day; they are that good. They have a dance floor upstairs that is pretty fun as well as another bar so that you don't have to go back and forth for your drinks and food. The staff are all usually very pleasant and attentive. I will always come back to this fine establishment! :)
This is one of our favorite locations to come to whenever we want a nice dinner or a quick bite to eat. Great tasting food all around, and the fries are addicting. Yhe pulled pork is 10/10, steak bites are 10/10, and the pretzel bites are 10/10 as well! They have their own housemade cola. There's always a fun new drink to try out, too! You can pick music to play through an app where you can purchase credits. The bartenders, waiters, and waitresses are always so attentive and friendly. There's a dance floor upstairs along with another bar, which is awesome, so you don't have to go back down the steps. I believe they i.d. you after a certain time, so make sure you have it regardless if you want to drink or not. It's always decorated so elegantly no matter the occasion. I'm happy to bring family and friends here to try it out, and they enjoy their time here as well as the food! Will always be back! ????
Great food, service and location. Located in downtown Wyandotte with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Host of many events throughout the year and weeks, Whiskeys on the Water is always a great choice when looking for great atmosphere, food and a good time. Plenty of parking available in their lot in the back or on the street in front. Service is fast, friendly and attentive. Restaurant is two levels very well kept and clean. Recommend!
Great view of the Detroit River. Their hotcakes are delish! They are our special occasion treat. Great servers! $14 for 3 pan sized hotcakes, is above my budget, or we'd visit more. The 3% credit card fee is always a surprise. I have to remember to bring cash...because they do not remind you of it before cashing out.
It’s a shame my family, and myself would come here once a week. We would spend 140.00 every time we went there. The last 3 times we went to this restaurant, we were told there was a 30-45 minute wait, but there were open tables everywhere, but was told they were reserved. So we waited, finally we get seated, after waiting 45 minutes. We ate, finished our meal, and those same open tables were still never used, so my family, and I wasted 45 minutes for nothing. Fast forward to Mothers Day, I called A week in advance to reserve a table, I was told they were not accepting reservations for that day, ok, no problem, but we show up first thing at 10Am on Mothers Day, just to be told sorry you don’t have a reservation. I could not believe it! I explained how I tried to, the hostess did nothing to try and resolve the situation. Her only response was we could sit at the bar…. Really I explained I don’t want to sit at the bar with my kids, and wife for Mother’s Day. She did not care whatsoever. You have lost a customer for life, and I will be sure to spread the word. Whoever runs the reservations, and or manages this place, needs to reexamine how things are done there.
