I love this spot. It seems like it's probably very busy at the right times, but I love when it is slow and laid back.. the atmosphere and the look is almost therapeutic. The waitress was great and she had a lot of patience seeing as how this was my first time dining at this spot. I like how the menu was short but specific to what they specialize in.
This was our first time coming here and the experience was not pleasant. We went upstairs to the patio for our visit. Our waitress brought us menus that were barely readable as they were worn out. We tried to order drinks and we were told sorry we don’t have that, several times… okay, no problem. Our waitress seemed to get annoyed with us fairly quickly as we had to rechoose options. This happened with our food as well: We then ordered our food and my husbands burger was way overcooked and mine was completely raw (see photo.) We did not have any napkins or anything so we asked and she brought us 2 napkins (we were a party of 3) and an empty ketchup bottle. We got to the point we were so checked out with being there we just cashed out and left and went elsewhere.
Good atmosphere, quick and friendly service, the food came out super fast, hot and fresh. The buffalo chicken wrap & sweet potato fries were a solid choice.
My hubby got the shrimp and grits! It looked so good, I felt it was picture worthy! I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. Our server was so patient since there were 6 of us. She even let me try pimento cheese, which I thought would be not my cup of tea - wrong! It was delicious. Being from the north, I had never tried it. This place is a definite place to eat.
We were looking for brunch to enjoy as a girls outing in the pouring rain. We were told to check out Whiskey Warehouse from another restaurant in the area from since their menu did not accommodate our needs. We called ahead and was told there was no wait and they would be waiting for us. We were greeted at the door and swept away to a back room. This room was so beautiful and private and we had a huge table and we were able to spread out and open gifts. When I tell you we were treated like queens and customer service was top notch! The staff was so friendly and we stayed here for about four hours just catching up and enjoying food and drinks. The chef even came out to ensure the food was to our satisfaction and even brought side items for salads that were not listed on the menu. The drinks and the food are reasonable and we felt at home while dining here! We informed the staff that we will be returning very soon for our girl outings and we look forward to ordering more items off the menu to enjoy. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family any time because I felt valued and the good, atmosphere and staff deserve ten stars!! Thanks for the hospitality!!
Our bartender Alicia was literally the BEST bartender I’ve had in so long. She was so funny and kind and just all around a people person! I’ve been a whisky customer for over 6 years and she by far is my absolute favorite!
I'm never disappointed when I come to whiskey. It has great food that I really can just enjoy. When I order, I normally get exactly what I want. This trip the waiter was busy in to much other things. I'm not the type to waste food, so I just ate the extra fries I didn't want.
Either way, I can definitely recommend this place for their brunch time. When they 1st open is my favorite time to go.
Update... need bigger cups for refreshments. We had numerous empty cups from drinking water on a very hot day! Great food and awesome atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, helpful and inviting. I recommend the roof top seating! Can't wait to go back again. Most definitely going to be added as a favorite!
