Our flight was delayed so we stopped in for a bite and drinks. The bar service was great! Friendly and attentive staff. Burger and Quesadilla was good. Be aware that they do add 18% gratuity to the bill.
We got chili and wings. The chili was very hot and delicious and came with cheese and sour cream on top. The wings, however, were very dry and tasted old. Sauce tasted good. Service was average. This is a place to go when you have time to kill, it’s not a quick eat. Prices are average for airport food.
Do you realize you are an airport restaurant/bar?? There Are very limited options past security.. cant bring own food but cant get food at this airport either!! Huge line of people Ignored over 20 minutes with OBVIOUS multiple open tables! Finally sat down(multiple had to leave for their flights and gave up)and then could not flag down a server. Was told it would be 40 minutes as “kitchen is backed up”backed up from a half empty restaurant? From reviews this is not an isolated event. Seems like it is time for the airport to boot this restaurant and get someone in here that knows how to run and staff a restaurant
A terrible cafe at the Fort Lauderdale airport. The only reason we went in is because our flight was delayed and the pizza place was closed. Middle of the day and they couldn't get our order right. They had no fruit for the drinks, and served us one of the worst cheeseburgers I have ever had. Next time we will hold out for the complementary pretzels on the flight, no matter how late our plane is.
I was at the Fort Lauderdale location. I was not advised that gratuity was added to the bill. I was told due the error the first charge will be refunded in 3 to 5 business days and to date no refund
I don't have a number to call. The service was horrible and so was the food. Eighty dollars of my hard earned money I would expect better service and food quality
Whiskey River is an awful no good pile of trash establishment. I go to sit down to order a non alcoholic drink as a recovering alcoholic and was told I can’t and need to move. Real supportive a holes. I do not recommend this place and vote it terrible
I Ordered a specialty drink that included a souvenir Whiskey River mason jar. I received my drink in a small high ball glass. When I asked for the souvenir mason jar, after discussing with the manager, our server said they didn't have them and the the manager would not authorize a discount. Since they automatically add a 18% surcharge, I paid $21 + for a small cocktail. Do not waste your time here, there are other restaurants in the airport. Poor Customer Service to say the least.
As soon as we sat down the old woman waitress had nothing short of a nasty attitude. Asked for a Shirley temple her reply “we’ll if i choose to make it.” Let it slide. Then asked for a lemonade, not a pink lemonade just regular lemonade… brought back a pink lemonade. Asked if i could place my order to go, clearly i have a flight to catch. She said “oh you’ll have to wait I’m busy”
Like whatttttttt? Go home & retire. Absolutely nasty. Her co-workers also noticed how nasty she was and told me to talk to a manager. Maybe it was my skin color? I don’t know but the whole family sitting on the side is being treated differently.
