In town for work meeting. They were able to host a large group of about 20. Service was a little slow but not too bad. The food was good. The hot hen sandwich was very crispy, almost burnt. Too long in the fryer. Salad was nice and fresh. The cheese cake was amazing and of course the whiskey cake!
This place was pretty good. The menu has a nice selection of choices. I had the duck wings (really good), candied bacon (a must try if you like bacon), and took home the massive chicken sandwhich. I was full on the appetizers!
Waitress really knew her job. Was lucky enough to get there during happy hour. Old fashioned, some Rotisserie chicken with an insanely delicious side salad, and whisky cake for desert. Of course it was good.
I recommend making reservations for this place. We came in for my boyfriend's birthday brunch and had made reservations on OpenTable beforehand. Upon coming in, they were slammed and after having ordered some food, I now know why!
We were greeted by Erin, and the manager Anthony. We were able to get seated rather quickly with about a five minute wait. We were seated with Caleb who has a great personality and very helpful with the menu. We ordered the deviled eggs, and candied bacon as our appetizers. This bacon is by far better than Bascom's Chop House which is supposed to be top tier. It was tender and very flavorful.
We also ordered a Smoked Old Fashioned (of course) which was smoked right at the table for us!
Brunch course: Gluten Free Burger, and Wagyu Wake Up Hash both were cooked to literal perfection. The theme of this place is so laid back and unique! Definitely will come back.
(The restaurant is somewhat low lighting so make sure to bring your readers and be prepared to use your phone light to see the food/menu.)
Oh man. As a bourbon / whiskey drinker this is my heaven. Our waitress was fantastic and make some great recommendations (food & booze) and the food was great from apps through dessert. Love me some deviled eggs too. Definitely recommend if your a bourbon connoisseur as the selection is good. I will for sure be going back.
First time here and can't wait to come back! All the staff is friendly and our server Madison was the sweetest! The food is creative and super tasty! Such a fun afternoon having brunch here! Can't wait to come back!
Lovely restaurant with awesome food and service. It was my first time yesterday with a good friend of mine and I'm so happy that she booked this restaurant for our dinner out. Definetly I'm going there again ... Don't miss to taste their "Whiskey Cake" ...
My husband and I wanted to check out a new spot for brunch other than our usual spot, and I'm so happy that we found Whiskey Cake. I ordered the blueberry French Toast, which was really good and not extremely sweet. My husband got the chicken & and waffles, and it's was abolsoutely delicious. I was disappointed with my drink. I ordered the "Ruby Slippers" and I received a barely filled glass full of ice. I'm looking forward to coming back here again for lunch/dinner, but I probably won't be ordering any drinks.
