What a wonderful small town steakhouse! From the first step in the door the place is welcoming, bright, and clean. My wife and I seated ourselves, and the server came to our table right away for our drink order and took our food order when we were ready. She was very courteous. She checked on us a few times to see how we were doing and to keep our drinks filled.
I ordered the Swiss Mushroom Burger with Fries. The food came in a timely manner and was nice and hot. My burger was cooked to perfection, nice and juicy, but also not dripping all over with grease. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The spicy cheese curds had a light zing to them and were not the spicy that makes you not taste your food anymore (I don't like when you can't taste your food after something extra spicy). The flavor of the burger, fries, and cheese curds were exquisite. The portions were just right and the prices are very reasonable. I would have spent just as much, or more, at fast food and not gotten as tasty of food (nor a beer).
Well worth the 20min drive (I'd drive an hour for the wonderful food, service, and atmosphere at Whip's) 100% recommend Whip's.
The French dip was delicious!!!! Never tried something like that. Trisha, the waitress was so nice and welcoming! I’ll come back!
Yummy food, really good cheese curds and the pork Tenderloin sandwiches are on point!

I LOVE going to Whips!! The wait staff is super friendly and are very accommodating! I live 45 minutes away, and it is well worth the drive. The food there is absolutely amazing! The Prime Rib has to be the best is all SWI!
