Decent enough cafe - nice friendly staff
Great coffee, good food, affordable prices.
Really like the coffee it's nice and strong.
Staff is nice too, welcoming and smiling.
Recommended.
Surprised by one particular snappy individual here - short guy, maybe in his 20s? As soon as I walked in, the first thing I hear is loudly being asked to close the door (which I did on my way in). Later on I noticed that the other staff were happily closing the door themselves, so not sure why this particular guy was hostile as soon as I walked in. I felt embarrassed on the spot given the manner he spoke to me in.
Doesn't end there, the same guy, who I had to go up to for ordering, suggested I pay straight away? Despite the fact it seemed others paid *after* their meal, and is usually the case for the other local cafes. Note that I was dining in, and not taking away. Do you think I'm going to run away from an £8 order..? The short guy also seemed to be overly nice to all the other guest. I can't help but feel like I was being targeted for some reason.
Had to wait 20 minutes for my meal, which believe it or not, were mini scotch pancakes which you can buy for 75p at Waitrose. Utterly confused, because making fresh pancakes isn't exactly a hard task. All in all, negative and somewhat hostile experience. How is this cafe still in business, when literally every other Whestone cafe is better?
Nice helpful staff. The food is very average. Hollandaise sauce was more of a yellow mayonnaise and the poached egg was solid and over cooked. Pastry was like a cheap pastry from Iceland.
Delightful little cafe located on Whetstone High Road, that serves a very tasty breakfast & has a great atmosphere.
The food was cooked to perfection! & the presentation was completely on point ????????
Customer service was exceptional.
5* Would recommend on overall experience ????????
Lovely food, it's a gem
I walked down here yesterday for lunch and did a takeaway the staff were friendly and the food amazing, the portions were large too, not to mention was the only place full of customer
Today I returned with a colleague... What a lovely gem of a place, staying at the Travelodge.. this will quickly become my regular
Good service wirh friendly staff and excellent food & coffee. Even proper freshly squeezed orange juice. Very extensive breakfast menu including pancakes. Eggs Benedict as well as all the traditional options.
Such a cosy and tasty little cafe, excellent food and service and they always put down water and treats for my old doggo. A breath of fresh air in a heavily corporation dominated sector. Couldn't reccomend enough ❤️❤️
