My friend and i ordered 2 original Italian grinders. We assumed it came with sauce since this exact sandwich could be made anywhere else in the world without sauce, I chose this place for the SAUCE. Ruined my friends first grinder sandwich because it tasted bland and not pleasing in any way. Why? They say it doesn't come with it, but all the others do. Don't get it to go. You won't know you have an inedible item if you don't bite into it while you're there. It should come with a warning otherwise.
Placed an order online which clearly stated no veggies on subs and tons of veggies on subs! Live an hour away and now kids have no dinner because the subs REEK of strong onions. $30 in the trash. Called back in and owners were to return my call today to try to resolve the issue, but nope! Calked again and no answer. Don't waste your money or time here. Go to West Broad - never an issue there. This is no way to run a business and is negative to the Grinders reputation. Really tired of not getting what I paid for!
Ordered catering for a Mother’s Day celebration! And everything was amazing! Food was ready and still warm when we arrived, the shop has a really nice old school pizza parlor vibe! Portions were really big so there was plenty of food to go around! I would definitely recommend!
We used WG Grinders to cater our large graduation party. We ordered stromboli, penne pasta, salad and garlic bread and a meat and cheese tray. All of the food was delicious, aesthetic, and packaged to stay hot or cold. The staff was very helpful answering all questions and working with our large order. Everyone enjoyed the food and we enjoyed not having the stress on our party day. Would highly recommend and will use again.
This is one of my favorite sandwich places in the whole world and I've been eating here since I was in college. I always order a full size sandwich even though I can only eat a little bit because I love to be able to reheat it and eat it for a day or two!
I've always loved the crispy bread, the good portion of meat and cheese, I have it grilled twice, and the lettuce is always served on the side so it's fresh and crispy and cold.
Tonight it was a little bit different. When did this change? If you guys are reading this, is this experience just an off night or have your practices changed?
It wasn't wrapped in the wax paper/foil and there was no lettuce on the side. The lettuce that came with it is on the sandwich and very wilted as can be seen in the pictures.
Was brought here by a local when visiting Dublin. Service was very friendly as they recognized him as a regular. Nice variety of hot and cold sandwiches, pizza, strombolis, pasta, soups, and desserts.
Ordered the 6" Sicilian Grinder which was more than plenty for lunch. It was a warm sandwich stacked high with many different meats, vegetables, and added jalapenos. Sandwich was very good with a nice crunch from the toasted bread. Good food and service.
A door dash order brought me here and I wanted to check it out for lunch, I got the white pizza grinder which is one of there popular items, it was something different so I have it a shot. On toasted bread was artichoke hearts, provolone, ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan. I’m glad I stopped by the sun was really good, with a pie and water came up to $12. The staff was super friendly which is the second reason I came back. I would give this a go especially if you want to explore something different in your sub next time.
I received the Groupon coupons for the ice cream! DO NOT GET THE ICE CREAM. It is old and outdated. Not worth the groupon price, let alone the original price. The containers were half filled from the ice cream being old and all melted together. The coffee one was disgusting, too. It was so melted and hard as a rock that you couldn't even get the plastic spoon out of them. We did not eat the other food.
