Excellent food! First class service! Great value for money! Freshly cooked fish and chips while you wait! Family owned and run by my family for over 35 years! Simply the best fish’s and chips in the West in Cornwall!! ????
Excellent fish and chips. Generous portions. 3 of us, we got 3 large cod and one large chips as we are not huge chips fans. Was enough for dinner for 3. Card payment not working which is a pain. There is a nearby co-op ATM but nowadays card payment should be available at eateries and takeaways.
Don’t know what the good reviews are about as this has to be the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. The portions are a joke, tiny bag of chips (don’t taste right or have the usual texture from a chip shop) and the fish (haddock) was the smallest I’ve ever been given. Very disappointing end to our day on holiday sadly. The Staff were nice and friendly though I’ll give them that.
WORST CHIP SHOP EVER!!!! Where to start, the chips tasted cardboard like and stale and were less chips and more like chippings, the cod we ordered was smaller than usual and massively overcooked making the batter rock hard. Not only that but the food was swimming in grease. And to top it all off what seemed to be the owner was incredibly rude. We were also missing part of our order which was still paid for. Would rate 0 stars if i could, would not recommend.
Lovely fish and chips , made even more special because I had trouble getting cash (cash only) so only had £10. The gentleman let me off for the rest and was so kind, also his wife. I had cod, haddock, mushy peas and chips . If I lived here I would have brought the balance back . Fabulous!!
Takeaway fish and chips. Super delicious, but why no card machine available for paying in this modern era?
