I spent years trying to find a good barber, and after losing one to Covid-19, I found Cliff at West Valley Barber Shop. His skills with clippers and scissors are unmatched. The prices are also a welcome change from other barber shops, a true bargain. If you're looking for a good haircut at a reasonable price, West Valley Barber Shop is the place.
Barber did not listen to any of my instructions. I had my eyes closed and let him do his job. Worst haircut ever. Have to wear a cap for a few weeks now. Barber' s name starts with a C.
If you want a something close to a good hair cut this is not the place. Don’t know the short rude guys name but what a hack. Got hair cut few days ago and my wife and I are still trying to find a way to hide the mess while brushing. Could never see what he was doing because he kept you turned backwards as he did his master piece. Must be by design so you can’t see his incompetence in my opinion.
Horrible experience here today. Had an appointment for 8:30am. Arrived 7 minutes late due to a motorcycle accident near the intersection of Bell Rd and RH Johnson Blvd. Frank (also the owner who the appt was with) had another customer in his chair and asked who I was. This despite the fact that I had been a customer of his shop for over 6 years and had the appt. When I told him my name he announced in a very loud voice that unfortunately he couldn't cut my hair today because he had another appt in 25 minutes and pointed to 3 other barbers standing there without customers and looking irriated and bored. So he evidently had taken this customer VERY SOON after the appt time even though their chairs were empty. IMO Frank was arrogant and rude, and showed how little he respects his customers and subordinate barbers. That may also explain the high turnover rate of different barbers that I have noticed in his shop lately. Definitely would NOT recommend this business anymore!
Great haircut at a great price. And great service I might add.
Been going to West Valley Barber Shop for about 3 years. I know it was before Covid because I remember seeing my barber's (Maria) face. All the barbers wear a mask now. I found this barber shop by mistake way back when. $13 buck's for a haircut these days is very reasonable.
Maria does a nice job. Very friendly and cuts hair as per your instructions.
I have recommended West Valley Barber Shop to several friends and they are just as satisfied as I am.
Cliff is one of the best and he deserves the highest appearance
Frank does such an immaculate job that I take my son there too! If you haven't had a haircut by Frank, you're missing out!
