Stumbled upon this gem by chance, was walking through Cromer and was initially lured down the road by the most wonderful smell of fresh baked goods which led me to West Street Deli. Saw the most amazing looking cinnamon buns in their window, and of course, it would have been rude not to bring one home with me. Lovely atmosphere at the deli and very friendly staff. Also picked up a flat white, as everyone knows cinnamon buns and coffee is a hand in hand kind of deal. From taste, I think the coffee is some sort of Indian blend (I might be completely off the mark though.) Warm, earthy and spicy, perfect for a cold seafront day. The cinnamon bun was simply perfect. Ample measures of cinnamon in a beautiful syrup that's laced throughout the pastry swirl. The bun's texture was soft, fluffy and slightly flaky with a spot on glaze on top. I've eaten maybe too much of my fair share of cinnamon buns from all over and can safely say that this is the best I've had in a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if I make some excuse to drive from Norwich to Cromer just to grab another one...and whilst im there, sausage rolls, date tarts, quiche and pretty much anything else on offer as all looks and smells incredible. Don't walk, run to this place!
If in Cromer, you must pop in here for a bite to eat and drinks.
The crab baguette was delicious, the little one really enjoyed the cheese and tomato toastie, and the signature sausage roll was scrumptious.
The tea and coffee was very nice too. :)
Had the falafel sandwich and sweet potato and chickpea roll (sausage roll alternative) and they were absolutely delicious! The chap serving us was very friendly and we were able to take our dog in while we ordered
First visit today, the smell from the doorway was amazing. We had a sweet potato & chicken pea sausage roll & a regular sausage roll. The staff were super friendly. They are dog friendly and had 2 little tables so you could sit and eat. We also found out they have a bistro just around the corner, which we had peek in when we passed. The bistro looked so inviting & again dog friendly.
We stopped for a coffee and sausage roll here and was surprised how good it was. Definitely recommend.
A real gem of a place.
I recently contacted West Street Deli with a special request and the customer service I received was second to none. Keep up the great work.
Popped in to get a couple of coffees, two sausage rolls and a slice of pizza. Very friendly service, although quite a small place so did have to wait outside until drinks were ready. Would definitely recommend the morrocan sausage roll.
Great lunch spot in Cromer! We had delicious Cromer Crab sandwiches on nice bread and the Triple Chocolate Brownie for dessert. The brownie was amazing - highly recommend! Also loved that their iced drinks come with agave straws - so much nicer than the paper ones that get soggy instantly.
I wish we discovered this place earlier in our trip. We'll definitely be back next time as the lasagne and enchiladas looked amazing too.
