When I call for booking exactly on 08:03 am operator says fully booked but while I say I need appointment for tomorrow to who’s taking phone he says no I can’t book for tomorrow!!.????
Maybe some people booking midnight ????????
My mum and I have been registered here for years and we have never experienced rudeness! Im really shocked by the bad reviews! Unless there's new staff I've not dealt with... I have always felt heard by the receptionists, and the GPs never rush me. Also when my mum has had an urgent matter it has always been dealt with. The practice also has a pharmacist who is brilliant and the nurse is great. However I agree about the mad rush to get a 48hr appointment at 8am.
I cannot explain how unbelievably incompetent and shoddy the service has been for me. I am on a lifelong drug for blood (warfarin) and every time (2 weeks) I have to get a repeat prescription its a nightmare. The doctor has never actually seen me and I simply cannot get past the reception/telephone agents who are rude and I have caught in several bare faced lies. The worst was today when I was told to show up at the surgery to pick up my prescription and it wasn't ready. The doctor couldn't see me because he had a meeting with a sales rep who I observed with a big spread of food. I can forgive a few mistakes they are under a lot of pressure but this is laziness and incompetence. Do not sign up with them.
Absolutely disgusted with the response from the surgery this morning. Rang up to get an appointment for my 3 year old who's got a fever and woke up this morning with a rash all over her stomach., surgery told us appointments are all taken and to ring 111, rang 111 and after a assessment i was told they have made a referral to the GP and they must see her as they have a duty of care as a registered patient. Called surgery back and was told there is nothing they can do and to take her a&e. Absolutely disgusting response from the surgery especially when a 3 year old child is concerned and with the strep A and scarlet fever around..
This seems to be the normal response recently call 111 or go walk in centre. No care what so ever. They rarely have appointments available, Or have appointments for a few days later. Cant predict when you will be ill. What is the purpose of being registered with a GP
No appointments available. Always told to call at 8am by the time you get through they have no appointments.
Chased prescription 3 times to be told different things, finally for meds after 2 weeks of waiting. On meds that are for heart not blood pressure. Referred elsewhere as dr says it’s out of out control….
I’ve never known a surgery to be so careless. Waiting for patients to have a stroke or heart attack!! Disgusting service.
Worst GP Surgery I have been registered to in 13 years. GP appointment, call at 8:00, nurse appointment call at 10:00, few minutes late and the queue is full, no service. Repeat prescription, could not get even for critical condition. Blood test booked after several attempts and they could not get the results, called me back in, wasted another and it's been two weeks with no results and calling them to know is a pain. You will need a personal secretary just to get appointments booked for yourself in this surgery.
Absolutely disgusting with receptionists for 3 weeks now trying to get appointment they are so rude they speak to you as if your a child. I think it’s time for me to look somewhere else. I would not recommend people to go to this GP surgery
I am surprised at these negative comments about reception staff. I think they have a very difficult and stressful job and are doing it well. I needed information for a form I was filling in today and they responded helpfully and efficiently. And re. the issue of the receptionist asking 'personal' medical questions... I queried this the last time I rang and the lady told me in a very matter of fact way that she had to decide who to prioritise and knowing more about why I was ringing helped her decide if she should try to get me seen by a doctor immediately. Thank you for your help, ladies. I don't think you are 'rude' at all.
