I would give zero stars if it would let me, they have had my furniture for 3 weeks from 3 different stores from Hickory Furniture Mart.
you can't reach anyone and if you ever do they are totally clueless on cost and delivery time frame. I've given them a months notice of my dates that id be there to accept delivery, as I have to fly up from Florida to Ohio to meet the delivery people.
unbelievable experience, run away don't use them
Absolutely do not hire this company for delivery! My company (Interior Design Company) purchased chairs from a Rep who used this business as the delivery service and it has been over a month and my chairs are still in their possession undelivered and I have no idea when they are coming. In June, I was informed the chairs were coming the second week of July and I was contacted by the driver that he would be coming the week of 7/12 but they could not give me an exact date and the driver would call me in route with a specific day and time. I flew to my client's home to meet this delivery and by Wednesday morning started calling the driver (thank goodness I had the drivers phone number). I was told he was not coming and that he was sent to another state and did not even have my chairs. So I started calling West Express home office and only received a recording (I left numerous messages) saying they would be in touch in 48 hours. I still have yet to get a call back. I also had the company from which I purchased the chairs who actually contracted with West Express to find out what was going on and they also were unable to contact these people and get answers any definitive answers. (supposedly they are coming in two more weeks! ) This company is completely unprofessional . You are taking a risk with your business reputation if you contract with these people. This has been a complete nightmare for me and also my vendor.
This place is a joke! Supposed to have my furniture delivered today within a 4 hour window that has long since come and gone. No call, no email, no nothing. I have no idea where my furniture is and since I wasn't given driver contact info and the office is closed who knows if or when they will arrive?? The phone number on their site with my customer information is actually for a medical device company (they can't even get their own phone number right on their own website!).
Very frustrated by this completely unprofessional experience. I've notified the retailer so they can hopefully choose another delivery service going forward and spare other customers the hassle.
Incidence: we received two furniture‘s with West express delivery July 17, 2021. Two delivery man left tremendous damage to our home and the incidents happened right in front of my wife on the first floor while they were bringing in the pieces of the furniture. After the incident occurred one of the gentleman attempted for my wife to sign the “waiver” for no responsibility on damage to the property during delivery. My wife did not sign the document. As it was too late as damage was presented right front of her in action.
We sent an email and called bedroom discount furniture the same day and made a complaint regarding the damages that was left behind. As they are business entity hiring west express. Bedroom furniture discount communicated with West express and west express neglected for two weeks to respond back til they said that there were no report being done on the receipt of the furniture
West express only communicated with bedroom furniture as they did not respond to any of my phone calls and left messages
At this time bedroom furniture discount advised us to email at this email address with full detail of the situation
It’s unfortunate
it’ seems both parties bed room discounts furniture and west express is not wanting to take proper responsibilities for the damages that was left behind that my wife visually observed happen in person. It doesn’t matter if we wrote it on the receipt of wall damage or not as there was no proper guideline or statement on the receipt stating so to place wall damage. It was plainly signed for the specific statement of receiving the product. Delivery company west express also DO NOT have waiver of no responsibility for property damage signed by my wife
Most educated people utilize specificity of statement and proper guidelines to support their grounds.
I have already started the process with a colleagues attorney to take over and pursuant of personal property damagelawsuit. As I take negligence very seriously.
I assure you along with bed room furniture discount you’ll be advised to turn in all correspondence emails that I I have made with great attempts from day of damage up to today with ordering company and hired delivery company by bedroom discount furniture
Not a competent move on neither of you 2 parties to leave a customer in this position with damage on property and not taking proper responsibility
I placed all attachments and photos along with the receipt photo
I hope there’s a positive conclusion that is proper and responsible by the delivery team hired by ordering company or the ordering company itself accordingly as I will not be stopping on my route having either or both party to pay for all the effort, time and expense behind attorney that concludes that I place behind this negligence
Absolutely horrendous experience with this company who was a third party contractor for a furniture seller that we bought from.
Missed commitments - on three separate occasions I was told that my delay was due to mechanical problems with the truck, once I was told that everyone in the warehouse got COVID, and twice they just didn't turn up when they said they would.
Disingenuous - lied to about delivery dates, lied about contacting me, tried to cover up damage.
Sloppy - damaged same piece of furniture twice, first time it was sent back to be refinished by them and then in between it being refinished and redelivered they damaged it again and tried to fix it with a furniture marker - this was a brand new $5K customer made cabinet.
DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY.
This is the first review I have ever posted online for anything, but felt it had to be done. This company had my furniture for over 7 weeks before it was finally delivered. I was given a delivery date half way through this period, but then they called the day before and cancelled it. When I politely expressed my frustration (I actually ordered the furniture 2 months prior to this) the lady responded with an attitude and basically hung up on me. She said she'd call me the following Monday with a new delivery time and date, which she never did. I had to call the furniture company to finally get some answers. Then when they finally delivered the furniture, they didn't set up all the furniture like they were supposed to AND they left all the boxes and packaging behind! I paid for the "Platinum" delivery service, so shouldn't have had to spend over an hour of my time breaking down boxes and driving cardboard to a recycling center. Now there are 17 bags of styrofoam in my living room I have to think of how I'm going to get rid of! If you have another option for a delivery service, please choose that one and not this company.
Poor customer service, no sense of urgency. I purchased an item from Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams. West Express Inc received the item and it was sitting in the warehouse for a while, 3 weeks later I'm still wating to have the item delivered. I was the one making phone calls and reaching out to them to have this delivered - very fraustrating.

RAAM Logistics (Excellent experience with RAAM Logistics. West Express should learn how to communicate with their customers as RAAM Logistics does)
Overall a negative experience with West Express, it shouldn't be so complicated to have the delivery completed.
I ordered 4 pieces of furniture from High Point NC a couple of months ago. I received a week prior notice of my delivery which was to be Thursday Dec 19th which then turned into Friday Dec 20th 8-10 then Dec 20th 6-8 pm and now Sat Dec 21 BETWEEN 10-2. Completely ridiculous! Unacceptable. The lady Peggy is very nice who notified me of the changes but the blatant disregard for the customer is beyond it all. I would never use this company again in the future! And hope the furniture companies who have contracts with them will think twice before using them as well.
